needed a zoom in zoom out lens so purchased it.Sony 90mm is far better in sharpness.

Not sharp at all Focal Lengths
The lens is fairly sharp at 28mm. It gradually reduces to 50% Sharpness at 70mm.Don't get carried away by the popular reviews on YouTube.
