The wood started letting off smoke and when I looked, it was red hot and smouldering. I used a regular tea candle and it was centred with the flame coming straight up, so this was not my own misuse. Not sure if this is a design flaw or if the one I was sent was faulty. Please everyone be careful!

In the picture it shows a decent ledge for you way spoon to rest on. That is not the case. It's fairly wide open so you have to hold it or balance it just so or you end up with a way mess everywhere. I also suggest having something to set it while it cools so it doesnt harden in your candle. Other than that it works as expected

I got this product knowing that I was going to be writing a number of personalized letters in a short time. The spoon was incredibly hard to use— when you titled it, some of the wax would hold to the side and drift to the bottom with gravity. Then that wax would get burned or melt into the tea light on the bottom. The kit together looks beautiful, but at the end of the day, it wasn’t practical for me.
