Zipper pull on left side if that matters.
I like the jacket so far. The left side zipper pull was a little hard to get use too, but I'm getting use to it now.

Great Jacket...But Sizing grossly incorrect
Mine arrived 2 days ago and I was so excited to open the package. It is an awesome jacket! However, I am 5'9" 200 lbs and ordered a size XL. It was extremely small. Sadly, I had to return it. Will be placing order for an XXL very shortly.

The jacket does good for the money and convenience of Amazon but it isn't perfect. The styling is good but the the branding on the back of the neck and both sleeves makes me not want to wear it at times. The padding on the elbows and shoulders is CE rated but there is NOT a back protector. Well, there is a piece of foam that will not protect much if you do happen to fall. You could go ahead an buy one online to insert but that'll cost you around 40-70 depending on the style that fits the jacket. But that will probably put this jacket near the $200 range and in that case you can get something a bit more comfortable, stylish, and more protected from a more reputable company.I paid about $130 for this Jacket in Feb of 2020 price may have gotten lower or higher at a later time.Sizing is a bit small. I usually wear a large on everything but I got an XL on this jacket and it is still a bit too tight for me. I am 5'5 and 185 (fat not muscle) in between a 34 -36 size in pants. Length wise, it just reaches my waistline.I also have a Cortech Piuma jacket that cost me around $197 and there is definitely a difference in quality. The Milano certainly feels nice and safe but if isnt made out of the high end material. The lining feels a bit thin and delicate. The inside zippers feel like they're about to get stuck and the Velcro feels like they're going to yank the lining off.It is a good jacket though. You get removable paddings and a removable termal liner that does keep you warm. I ride in Los Angeles and the coldest I have gotten was about 60 F. When we have hit 90ish degree weather and I have forgotten to take out the termal liner my arms sweat and the liner sticks to my arms. That is also something to consider. The termal liner goes all the way into the sleep, the Cortech I have has more of a termal vest where the termal lining doesn't have sleeves.Overall a good looking jacket with good not great protection. You may want to invest in a back protector.

Nice jacket, but plastic zipper is horrible and failed completely with less than 2 seasons of use.
The jacket itself is nice. I was initially impressed with the value, but my like soon turned to frustration, due to a cheap plastic zipper that would always get caught in the internal wind-guard flap. The zipper also started to come apart, no matter how carefully it was zipped. I wound up spending $65 to replace the zipper with a high-quality coiled steel zipper. I still wear the jacket and with the new zipper, continue to like it for its fit and finish. My next jacket will be another AlpineStar.

Good Jacket - Additional Perspective
The jacket just arrived and like other reviewers, I am impressed with the thought and quality that went into a less expensive piece of protective gear.Pros:Zip out quilted liner for warmer weather2 color coded sleeve buttons in the liner - white/black coding which keeps the liner sleeves aligned in the jacketAdjustable neck closure snapBicep, forearm and wrist velcro tabs to adjust sleeve length and armor positionVelcro waist adjustersJacket design does not bind and is appropriately flexible in riding positions.Extra buttons and snaps are included in a tag bag.Cons:Torso is a short fit (not a problem for me)Main zipper is opposite what most American male styles use; it's a right-hand feed to a left-hand zip. Not noticeable when zipped, but feels odd compared to your other zip items. The main zipper feels a little light in construction but functions.Sizing Information:First - protective motorcycle gear is supposed to be a snug fit - you want the armor in place to stay there and you do not want wind flap.Second - this jacket is clearly built more for a European fit - that means we "heftier" Americans need to buy larger - but how much may depend on your body type.Generally speaking, if you wear a Size L T-Shirt and it fits normally (as opposed to muscle or sausage tight) - Order an XL in this jacket; the fit will be correct.I initially ordered size L because I interpreted other reviews in relationship to jacket sizes and it fit like a tight M.For perspective, I am a short male, 5' tall and 170 lbs. Wide shoulders, 17" neck, 44 chest. Not "fat" - more like a fireplug. The XL fits my shoulders/chest perfect and since it's a short torso jacket it's a bonus for me. I was able to successfully adjust the sleeves using the mentioned adjusters to position the armor and keep it there as well as manage the sleeve length.I hope you find this review helpful.Be visible, ride safe.

Terrible airflow with this jacket. Do not recommend.
I purchased this jacket based on the fact that it looked pretty cool and had venting zippers advertised for hot days.Be warned that the description is false. The jacket does have two arm zipper vents but it actually allows zero airflow. I held the jacket up to a light and there's not even anywhere for the air to flow through. It's totally blocked.I rode with the jacket and OMG, it's so so hot inside compared to my older jacket, I mean dying hot.I returned the jacket because it was not as advertised and want to warn others that this jacket has zero airflow. The size is also very small. I am a very thing guy so I ordered a medium. I probably needed a large which is crazy. You've been warned!

looks great fits great! This review took 5 years to post lol
The media could not be loaded. Had my jacket for three days now and I love it. I didn't order a size up and it fit me perfectly, plus it's arms are very adjustable. Zipper vents for air flow are a nice touch especially when you start getting sweaty. I ride through the rain too and can definitely see how waterproof this jacket is. AND it arrived 10 days early. Only complaint is they just left it on the porch for anyone to take.(update 5 years later and 50 pounds heavier) order a size up if youre a bigger guy. the waterproof fails in the elbows first and the velcro on the cuff have work to the point of not sticking. Good bang for your buck jacket would recommend. Decent padding in the elbow and shoulder
