What is the chemical mentioned on the sticker, and would normal use expose me to significant amounts? the scoop is supposed to be bpa-free.

It also has a sticker stating the item has a small trace amount of BPA which has to be put on every item due to be shipped to the state of California. The amount is so small and very insignificant that it would have no effect.

Rubbermaid, could you consider using a lower tack adhesive on the bar code sticker? It was nearly impossible to remove and left handle sticky.
