Seems to stick well on old paper
The wallpaper and border in one of my bedrooms is 23 years old but I still love it. The border goes around the perimeter at the ceiling and also another row of it half way down. The wallpaper itself is sticking pretty good, but the border was coming up in a lot of areas. I thought this would be easy because it look like all you had to do was squeeze it out and take a putty knife to press it back down. The adhesive was thinner than I hoped and was runny. Plus because the paper is old and had curled up quite a bit in some of the areas it was very dry and took a few minutes for it to soak into the paper in order for it to stay down. What I found was easier to do was squeeze some of it into a small plastic bowl and use a small flat artist type paintbrush, and brush it on. That worked a lot better and was a lot less messy. I worked in small sections of about 2 feet at a time. Took a while because I had to keep going back-and-forth over it with the putty knife for a while until it was flat again, then wipe it down with a damp rag. Seems to be sticking quite well!

Excellent Product
Very tacky (in a good way). Holds down edges or corners that want to curl. Once and done. I would recommend this product for anyone installing wallpaper or mural.

Effective and easy to use, but dries a bit slow
I used this adhesive to fix some corner rolls on my bathroom wallpaper, and it worked really well. The adhesive is strong, dries clear, and leaves no visible residue, which is exactly what I needed. It's also very easy to apply. It does dry a little slower than I expected, so I had to hold the seams in place for a bit to make sure they stayed secure. But once it set, it held everything perfectly and prevented any further peeling.

This stuff is a life saver! Works extremely fast. And gets the job done. No smell and hold the wallpaper on extremely well!

Takes patience
Not sure any type of glue would help on my very thick wallpaper, but I did try this one based on reviews. I found that the tube did not go very far and it immediately leaked through the seams. It worked best if I had a damp rag and immediately wiped the excess glue after applying it. Also discovered that the roller did not work on keeping it stuck down but if I took my fingers and knuckles and pressed hard along the seams for a few minutes, it stayed better. The directions say to press on it for 15 minutes, but if I had to do that, it would take me months to repair all the seams. In any case we will see how long the the seams I was able to get stuck down stay put. It wasn’t easy to use and I didn’t feel it was the best. But I don’t think it’s the worst either.

Definitely did not work. Super disappointed.
First off, I was very excited to find this and see that it was affordable. I read the reviews and didn’t think twice about buying it. I waited nearly a month for my shipment to have it be lost in shipment. I was given a refund and sent a new product. When I got it I followed the directions exactly and my first impression was that it felt and looked exactly like Elmer’s glue. When I applied it to my wallpaper, it didn’t stick, was extremely watery and overall not at all like I was hoping it would be. This product was a waste of money and I would not recommend using this at all.Side note: I was using this on peel and stick wallpaper, so it could have had a reaction to the glue already on the wallpaper but there was nothing written in the application usage that said not intended for peel and stick wallpaper. Not sure how it holds up to paste wallpaper. Either way I am very disappointed and wish this would have solved my problem of lifting wallpaper.

It works - if you work it right.
We had two floor-to-ceiling separated and curling seams. This is 25-year-old DYI vinyl wallpaper, so expectations were low. At first try, the paper would not stay down and kept curling away from the wall. So, I moved on to another section of the seam, then kept coming back with the putty knife and re-flattening the earlier treated area. With time (15-20 minutes) of repeated flattening, the paper became more flexible and the product more tacky and the seam stayed flat and closed. It’s been over a week now - this is a bathroom, so moisture is an issue - and so far, so good ! We are pleased with the results.

Works great to glue back down lifted wallpaper
Works great, was able to glue down multiple areas of wallpaper in my rv that had lifted off the base, or in some cases ripped. This glue does the job.
