The Kveller Haggadah: A Seder for Curious Kids (and their Grownups)

I highly recommend this Haggadah
I bought this Haggadah after Passover this year, so I did not have a chance to use it, but I am already looking forward to next year. It is so well written and makes it easy to understand not only what Passover all is about, but the real reason we celebrate it with such importance and thoughtfulness every year. My absolute favorite quote, at the beginning of the Haggadah, "We are the keepers of the memories. It's our job, and it's an important one." This one simple sentence explains it all. And the rest of the Haggadah is written with this in mind. Even if you don't use this exact Haggadah for Passover, it is helpful in taking pieces of it and adding it to your Seder. If you want an easy to understand explanation of what Passover means, what it is all about, and how to celebrate it and pass down the storytelling, this is the one to get. Kveller did a fantastic job with this.

Great visuals for teaching in the classroom!
I used select pages and from this book (printed from the free copy on Kveller) to teach my students (ages 7-8) about Pesach and the Seder. The pictures worked as visual aids to help the kids understand the vocabulary and learn the words to "The Seder Song" and the Ten Plagues. We also hung up the picture of the Seder Plate with the descriptions on our board. Not only did I download the free copy online, but I also bought this paperback copy, because this book is fun and awesome. It contains extra facts, stories and informational anecdotes about the Passover story and Seder.

A tale told for children that adults can enjoy too
I've found this book to be fun and educational. Written for youngsters but great for adults who want to learn more about the Jewish religion and the Seder. Written well and with a comedic slant.

Great Traditional Haggadah
Well done for those who want the tradition Haggadas text. Translations read smoothly, graphics are colorful, added material, though sparse is very thoughtful and original (see picture). Transliterations written in smaller type so not good for those with vision issues. I personally do not like using the name “HaShem, ” but that is a personal preference.

Bought one and then bought a lot more!
Much laughter at table and easy to read for kids and adults not interested in a long Passover read. We love it!

Good Haggadah
A bit too mature for the the younger set. More suited to middle school age and up.

Meh. Fine, but not so special
This haggadah has received a lot of positive attention, and I loved Haggadahs/Haggadot, so I bought it. It's okay. It does a nice job explaining the traditions in a child-friendly (sweet) way. Well-designed pages. Not a long haggadah. More Hebrew (with translations and transliterations) than I see in many "light" Haggadahs. There are some additional, somewhat complementary, very straightforward readings, which are plainly written -- like a report, or an article -- mostly about memories and the connection to remembering Jewish history, and previous seders. (Sortof a Haggadah for mini-proto-neuroscientists??) But overall, I didn't think it was so special. It was fine. But I think there are better ones for kids and their parents.

Bought this on recommendation of a friend. It completely exceeded expectations.
We had a mixed Seder this year with some non Jewish friends, multi generations etc and this really was popular with almost everyone reading this to supplement the existing family collection. I intend to buy some more copies for next year. As well as being good on the night it is also a really good pre read. Congratulation to the authors and illustrator.
