Very good product but it is expensive
even its high price comparing the same type of products other brands it came without batteries or tripod this is why it deserve only 4 stares only otherwise it is ok

Great value light, easy to control brightness and colour
This is my second 660LED light, so I expected it to be good, but this one is better. Most importantly the updated model has two separate dials one for colour temperature and one for brightness and this is great for repeatable results, which you can see on the display with brightness percentage and colour temperature.I've run it from AC power and also from a pair of NP-F970 type batteries just fine and it lasts a good few hours on batteries.Supplied barn doors give plenty of scope for controlling the light, and you can remove them easily to fit a soft box if you need.

Controllable, simple and easy to great great lighting levels👍
Simple and easy to set up to your preferred warmth and brightness and because the settings have a number value, you can always repeat the set up accurately.Easy to fit to stands and the barn doors protect the lights if you travel with them.Good stuff!!

Excellent and good battery life
This is brilliant value for money. I used it for a few hours on a shoot and the battery levels didn't hardly go down. The colour temperature adjust is also excellent and the brightness adjustment. I totally recommend this.

Not great for pro use
I am a photographer and film-maker and have other bits of Neewer lighting kit, including the previous version of this. This upgrade (with the LCD readout) simply does not work. Here's why:The old one had two rotary controls for cool and warm LEDs which could be set any brightness. This new one, has a single brightness control, but it's been digitised incorrectly. 0% is off (correct) but 1% should be barely visible, but it's actually very bright, about 1/4 the brightness of the full power. This means any subtle lighting is impossible.Go for the old version. This one is fine if you like to just whack your lights up high and record, but any artistic lighting, no chance.
