The name says it all!! K&N filter are the very best!! Only the best for my car. Highly recommend.
This is a very good quality filter. I only use the best for my Infiniti SUV. It is well made with great performance and fit. No leakage at all. So easy to use. I love the nut on the end of it so I can use my crescent wrench to tighten the filter without damaging it with a filter wrench. It is so easy to service. I will always buy these. They are better than Fram and any other brand out there. Just like their air filters. Simply the best they make the best products. I highly recommend this to anyone. I can tell that inside is very good. It has some weight to it unlike the cheaper crappy filters. Must buy!!

OEM Replacement Oil Filter for Nissan Frontier
Purchased this Oil Filter for my 2005 Nissan Frontier V6; also fits my 2018 Frontier PRO-4X. K&N makes quality filters but they are a bit more expensive than the factory Nissan Filters. Easy to install with a box wrench or also takes a cap filter wrench for removal and installation. I have never cut these filter apart to see how they are made but K&N is known for quality. For the Frontier, takes about 5 minutes to remove the filter skid plate cover and unscrew, then replace. Easy squeezy. Recommended after market oil filter.

Works great!
I got this for my MX-5 ND2 Miata and it seems to work well. The filter seems to be of the better made at a reasonable cost, all while sealing and fitting perfectly for my car. It’s also a breeze to install since only a socket wrench is needed to loosen/tighten the grip/threads.

Yes it's expensive but it's The best.
I run K&N HP series filters on all my vehicles.Pro's: they have a 10 micron rating and the highest flow rate of anything close to that. The wrench off feature is nice (kind of)Cons: the wrench off nut is just a stamped piece of sheet steel it's tapered and has rounded corners. So if you actually need to use it it's difficult to get a wrench to bite on it BUT if you can get a pipe wrench on it you're in the chips. All totally irrelevant if you don't overtighten your filter. Both a pro and a con, these things are tough they're made of thicker steel than most other filters so if you overtighten it and can't get a wrench or socket to bite on the nut you can't stick a screwdriver through it to loosen it.

If you're ordering the HP-1010 here's my experience. 5/7/2024
I chose the option to order two K&N HP1010 oil filters instead of the HP1008 because it is a larger volume oil filer even though they are $2.71 more each. I have used both in the past. I received two HP1008 filters. I read reviews and saw that I am not the first to experience this. On principle I will return both filters because I don't think this was a mistake, K&N's website doesn't list the HP1010 anymore and hasn't for quite some time. I thought since the website gave me a choice of either, then someone had some left over to ship. So be prepared not to received HP1010 filters if you order them but be prepared to pay the extra price as if you did. I order these filters because my car's oil filter is in a tough place to reach, the nut on the filter makes it easier to remove and replace.

Excellent quality, great price
Excellent quality oil filters. Easy on/off due to the molded hex nut on the end of the housing. Advertised as 20k mile interval oil change, but anyone who lets their oil go for that long is going to be replacing a lot more than a filter.

Good product!
I've been using K&N products for over 40 years and I've never had a single problem with any of their products. Their oil filters are some of the very best on the market today! I also really like the Mobil 1 oil filters and found that both of these oil filters do an excellent job of filtering out junk in the oil. I change my oil every 5000 miles on all of my cars, but every 3000 miles on my 4-cylinder MX-5. It's much cheaper to change the oil more often than replace an engine, LOL. Just for info, I use K&N oil filters on all my cars except the Miata. It just seems to run better and cleaner with the Mobil ! filter.
