Sandpiper Island (Bachelors of Blueberry Cove) Mass Market Paperback – January 27, 2015

The story for me was just okay, but probably nothing I'll remember by tomorrow. The story itself was really slow, but it was well written. I didn't care for the character of Ford Maddox at all. I thought he was a little over the top in attitude and his actions. For someone who is suppose to love his sister like he proclaims, he sure has a funny way of showing it. He totally ignores her every time she tries to call, e-mail, or text him.....and yethe claims he cares so much about him? Yeah, right! SMH. I also thought that Delia deserved so much better than some jerk like Ford.Sorry to be so blunt, but that's just how I felt while reading this story.

This was a great romance where two people who had known each other were relying only on themselves. When a situation occurs they eventually need to help each other.

I enjoyed this book, though it did drag a bit with the thought processes. It reminded me somewhat of movies that stay on the faces of the actors a little too long. Overall it was a good read. Once again Ms Kauffman had done her research and brought us knowledge on new subjects.

I devoured the entire Bachelor's series in a week. I LOVED IT. Fresh stories, beautifully written, and flowed well. It is rare, but when I connect with a writer and their style I can zip through the book so fast and that was the case with these. I read them over a week vacation at Tybee Island. That was a month ago and I was thinking of the characters all day today.

From beginning to end, this book kept me interested. Definitely hard to put down. I love the characters having a history to each other as well as to a village.

Donna Kauffman is one of my favorite authors but I don't always like her books. This series is excellent, just enough spice, but the story line is the important part. I HATE books that the only story line is the sex. This series is about relationships, between the hero and heroine, but also between the secondary characters as well. I'm looking forward to the next book!

I've loved Donna Kauffman's novels for years and The Bachelors of Blueberry Cove, Sandpiper Island, didn't disappoint. I wanted to get in my SUV and drive down the coast and meet these characters. I felt as if I could walk into my local coffee shop and they'd greet me at the door.
