This product seems to work flawlessly, even during lightning strikes, and high voltage surges. This product provides a significant number of joules of protection. This product has a nice feel and solid construction.The only drawback to this product is the fact that it lacks mounting options, and has a 90 degree plug. Most surge protectors today are wall or rack mountable, this power supply is neither, and completely lacks any mounting option without modification. The 90 degree plug requires this surge protector to either take up two sockets on a wall/rack outlet, or be limited to only using the bottom socket. This is frustrating when dealing large amounts of powered equipment.

I needed a power strip with a small foot print to fit into a tight space in a home computer network environment. According to the given measurements it should do the trick. It did, with even a little room to spare. The angled plug also came in handy. It is heavier than it looks. It is built like the proverbial brick outhouse. There is absolutely nothing flimsy about this thing. It should last a life time under normal use. I will need another one soon. That's the one I am going to get.

This surge protector was slightly larger than I anticipated. When I examined the strip, it has clearly been manufactured using higher grade materials than I am used to with traditional plastic surge protectors. It is expensive, but I think that it is worth it. I have had them for a few months so far and there are no issues with it. I would order them again.

My wife uses the Fellows 7 - Outlet Metal Surge Protector on a daily basis with her laptop and it has worked flawlessly. I like the metal trim for jazzing up the appearance of the power strip since it is located in an area easily observed by visitors.

I had so many extension cords attached together it was not even funny. I bought Fellowes surge protector and solved my problem: no chance to lose any info on my computer when we have power failure.
