More work than it appears to be
That’s what I learned after attempting to drop the oil pan to remove debris from an oil additive. Turns out, on my model Jeep, in order to remove the oil pan completely, I had to take the engine out! After LOTS of cussing and looking up how to use an engine jack, I decided to use an old shopvac to suck out the funky oil that wouldn’t drum as well as pieces of RTV and old cork gasket the PO must have used.After a whole lot of stress and time spent laying on my garage floor, I used RTV to hold the gasket in place, and reinstalled with no issues. Wished I had watched a YouTube video or two to see what a CF this job was gonna be.
