As a beginner you will need a lot of black and white. I used these to make crochet eyes from the Mumsy Makes Crochet tutorial on YouTube and it was perfect! Fast shipping too.

Have bought this item three times and each time I have received the same batch number for the Threads. This is really good as it ensures continuity of work with no colour difference with different batch.
