Replaces antibiotics for hotspots
I have an 8 year old pure-bread German Shepherd. My dog has suffered from all sorts of skin issues for probably 6 years. It used to be his ears, with yeast infection. But for many years now it has been hotspots under his front legs and groin. They would get goopy/pussy and he would start to smell. The only way I knew to address it was to take him to the Vet and they would put him on an antibiotic and/or steroid. It always worked and it worked within a few days.I had issues with him being on antibiotics so many cycles per year, for obvious reasons.I read about this product and decided to try it. My process, based on a homeopathic Vet (vet certified, but decided to go homeo) recommendation was 1) gently clean the areas with a spray solution of 50/50 apple cider vinegar and water. 2) A few pump sprays of the Silver on the areas. 3) a couple of pumps on his food. One week later, no hotspots.Silver is a natural antibiotic. People use it catheters to prevent unitary tract infections. Great stuff. Never thought to use it on a dog's skin issues. This is a product that works. I rarely review products.

Game Changer
My dog has skin issues. I bought this as a last resort. I have bought stuff from the vet and this product is so much better. Wished I had known about this sooner!

I’m pretty sure this is what saved my cat
I have a cat that was bit on the jawline (I’m not sure what happened) and massive swelling to his face happened overnight. Less that 24 hours later, it busted and I was unable to get to a vet. I drained his wound and then applied this religiously and he is healed. It is now scabbed over in less than a week. I bought this earlier for German shepherds skin irritations and used this on my cat since my options were limited. I will never not have this on hand. Thank you. I would give this product more than 5 stars is possible. Thank you. Thank you.

Happy Cat, Happy Guardian.
I am using this product on our asthmatic Miss Sootie who has to be treated twice daily with two puffs from a Flovent inhaler. The therapy is delivered through an Aerokat device and inspite of washing unseen residue from the mask and using a wet cloth to clean her little muzzle, after three years she has developed sores and patches of hair loss on her nose and on both sides of her face which she scratches vigorously. I have used a number of products deemed safe for cats and have also used a relatively comfortable cone but without any noticeble success since everything I applied was immediately either licked off or wiped off with a paw.I'm a member of a couple of yahoo support groups for cats with asthma, and the topic of puffer induced sores come up often. Several guardians have shared some success with CS so a few weeks ago I decided to try this product before moving on to trying to find a pure beeswax or lanolin barrier ointment intended for preventing bed sores or colonoscopy bag skin damage. I'm very happy to report she tolerates CS dabbed on her hot spots. At first I sprayed her face but that carries a negative connotation of punishment - who likes being blasted in the face - and I have strived to make the twice daily ritual of nebulizer, puffer and pilling a positive and enjoyeable experience of "lap time" - where she gets massaged and groomed. She has a very mellow laid back personality and will come looking for me if there's a delay in our sessions so it's been important to me that any additions to the routine are as positive as possible. So I now spray my (washed) finger and stroke the liquid where needed. We have a winner! And there's another benefit for me: over the last few years I have been experiencing the distressing symptoms of an itchy scaly form of female pattern baldness. On a whim I decided to spray the affected area and am encouraged enough by the positive effect on my scalp that I will be doing further research on using CS for treating thinning and hair loss.

Does not sting
Started using this for bull dog skin, ear, and tail pocket issues, and my bully does not appear to feel any sting or unpleasant sensation with the product. There is no odor from the product, and it appears to be good value for the price. Will report back on the antimicrobial outcome of use.
