While the tape is sticky, it is not too sticky. Easy to use.

This product is much less expensive than Sailrite and works just as well. It holds the fabric nicely and does not gum up the needle.

Terrible adhesion. Might be adequate for lighter projects, but this basting tape wouldn't even stick to a single layer of fabric, let alone hold two pieces together long enough to sew them together. Unlike previous commentors, I found this product totally inadequate when compared to Seamstick from Sailrite.

Holy smokes! This tape is so easy to use! It’s evenly adhesive and enables much faster assembly when I was making cushion covers. It’s thin but strong, and makes sewing these cushion covers so much quicker and easier!

The tape worked well for me. It adhered nicely to fuzzy backed marine vinyl BUT the way its packaged messes up the roll. It makes it out of round and can not be installed on a tape dispenser. The contortion of the tape also causes it to release from its backing in places- which might not seem like a big deal until you pick up dust or lint and it makes it not stick in areas.

Works good on frabrick.

If you sew, then you'll find this tape to be very useful and helpful. When pins are used, fabric can be a bit distorted just because of the nature of pinning. This basting tape works well. I recently used it in a project to hold ribbon in place and centering a fabric strip over a seam. I plan to use it to hold a zipper in place in my next project. It sticks very well and is easy to use. Just press it in place, remove the paper backing, and press against the fabric you wish to adhere. I also used it for making a decorative tassel for a purse.

I have been very happy to find this since it holds so many things right where it needs to be until sewn in place. I love it. Is on my list of useful things to keep in stock. Thanks
