Good tire. Mine were stamped "Mongoose" like the first photo, not "Chao Yang", but they're the same tires either way. My old ones that came with the bike (heybike mars 1.0) were Chao Yangs and the tread and everything is identical.I got over 1k miles out of my first rear tire, with a lot of very rocky trails and off road riding. When I finally got a flat I just decided to get new ones since the tread was almost gone anyway, and my sidewall was coming apart. I'm hoping to get another year and 1k or so miles out of the new tire. The front seems to last longer, it still has a ton of tread.

Perfect, and easy to install
Got this as a replacement for my ebike and let me tell you, this tire is better than the tires that come with the bike! It it easy to install and the size fits perfectly. In addition, the tire rides smooth AND it is quiet while riding.

Mongoose 20"x4" bicycle tire a possible replacement tire for Schwinn/Stingray chopper (20"x4-1/4")
After many hours of searching every possible web site & all local bike shops, we couldn't find a replacement tire for the Schwinn Stingray chopper we are refurbishing. Most websites with tires that would fit charged as much for shipping as for the tire itself. When we saw Amazon's Mongoose 20"x4" bicycle tire, we thought it could be a possible replacement tire for a Schwinn/Stingray chopper bicycle , which has a rear tire size of 20"x4-1/4".The Mongoose 4" tire fit and seated perfectly on the 4 1/4" rim, but it had too a high profile to put onto the bike without major remodeling (remove the fender, cut or grind off the fender mounting bracket, change rear brakes to accommodate the Mongoose height, change the way the chain rides so it wouldn't constantly rub on the tire's side, etc.)We finally found an exact, factory-recommended Ivonna 20"x4-1/4" tire, with Stingray on the tire side in raised letters, at a reasonable price on another site. But the Mongoose tire was easy to install onto the rim, easy to remove, and Amazon made it easy to return for a refund. Thank you, Amazon!

Better Than Expected - UPDATE
UPDATE: Have over 300 miles on this tire now. No problems at all. Seems to wear very well. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Purchased this 20X4 Mongoose Fat Tire to replace the Kenda Krusade that was stock on my Rad Mini 2019 (non step through). Krusade was starting to wear out pretty bad at about 1200-1300 miles, but Rad has not had any Krusades in stock for a long time with no answer from Rad when they would be available, other than the "soon" rhetoric. Not their fault because the China supply chain is terrible and very unreliable, and maybe even intentional. Anyway - when the Mongoose arrived I was displeased that it is not a Mongoose, as many reviewers had noted, and it is much thinner than the Krusade. But, I needed something and went for this Mongoose (Nongoose). Tread seemed to be fine for my use, so I went ahead and ordered it. I mounted the Mongoose on the rear with the Rad Mini at 1700 miles, with little trouble other than you have to be sure to bead the tire on both sides so tire is symmetrical and bead is on wheel properly. OK - went for test ride. Felt fine and after about a 10 mile test I was impressed with the ride, a lot. It is quieter than the Krusade, and grip and road-feel is excellent. All and all I am very pleased with it now. I only have about 25 miles on it so far, but it feels good. Don't know about how well it will wear or how long it will last, but it is definitely a decent replacement for the Krusade on a Rad Mini. One of the things I like about the Krusade from Rad is that it has a reflective strip on both sides of the tire for high visibility at night. The Nongoose does not. The Mongoose is a good tire for the price.

Good for rad runner 2
Yes it’s not really mongoose, it’s Chinese. Needed a cheap tire for rad runner. And it works great. Even though it is 4” and the original is 3.3” it has the same diameter and width. Width is about 3.5” which is the same as oem. Not having reflective strip makes tires look larger but they are exactly the same I measured them.Treads do make slightly more road noise, and there is some vibration when braking because of treads, but it’s minor.

Extremely thin tire . Returned.
Returned . Name brand & reviews & price sold me but compared Mongoose to my Kenda tires thickness is 1/3rd . You can bend Mongoose into a 4rths & returned it in a old shoebox. 20$ more I bought a Kenda . 3K miles off the originals next I'll try the Jumbo Jim maybe.
