I ordered this product a few weeks ago but just recently had time to get out and test the items. The mouth and box calls work just as they should without any issues. Overall, I was most impressed with the slate call For a starter pack, the slate call that is included works a lot better than I expected it would, especially in less than ideal conditions (i.e. wet/damp). If you're looking to start or even to get back into turkey hunting, then this is the starter pack for you. Aside from the products, ESH Calls is an excellent company to deal with.

Got a turkey in the first day!

First time turkey hunting, once I was settled in place and heard the gobblers up for the morning I started using the box call. Sure I wasn't perfect but after getting used to the pressure and rhythm the gobbling got closer and closer. Evidently close enough to the other hunters as well, since I heard shots all over the damn place then the gobbling stopped for the rest of the day. Still using, but I will start scouting a few days before getting the roosters close to my spots for opening day.

Haven't used it in the woods yet. But its easy to figure out and sounds great. True test in a couple weeks when I get out in the blind.

Where to start? I know: buy this.Huge value for your money. Standouts:1. The box call is beautiful. In a simple way. Sound is near perfect, right out of the box. Very well made2. Slate is very well made, too. Great sound3. Haven’t tried the diaphragm, but looks solid.
