Brilliant for the price - If you have time to work out how to use it!!
For the money this watch ticked all the boxes according to quite a few reviews. Key things are excellent battery life and lots of data over all sorts of activities. However, for some reason Coros sees fit not to bother providing any proper instructions/user guide either in the box or on their website. There is the most basic quick start guide and that's it. One reviewer even pointed this out, but concluded that none are needed because they thought how brilliantly intuitive the device is and how easy it is to navigate around and set up. Indeed, much of the functionality can be readily accessed without too much effort, but there are a significant number of functions which are unfathomable and have no explanation whatsoever from any resource. For example on the watch face one can easily identify the symbols for steps and calories and can work out another is for elevation with a little thought. Then there is a symbol I have never seen before with a number next to it on some, but not all of the watch face choices. There is NOTHING to explain this anywhere and a simple key in an instruction leaflet would solve this. The reviewer praising the intuitiveness of this device was someone who reviews these things for a living, thus clearly has good experience and a working knowledge of all these sorts of devices. If the Coros is your first foray into this field, there is no established point of reference and so a bit more assistance would be really useful. Yes you can enter the help function within the Coros App, but on doing this, although I found a run through of the functions and how to operate a number of Coros products, the Pace 2 is not covered! I did find a few Youtube videos, but these vary in usefulness. I simply do not have time to faff about using trial and error to work out how to use this device. I expect to open the box, find concise user friendly and complete instructions so that I can switch on and go. The irony is that this device is a quality piece of kit, which is highly unlikely to be bettered at the price, but could be very frustrating to get up to speed with. A shame when all the manufacturer has to do is just print a proper and full instruction leaflet.

Coros Pace 2, it can keep up!
This is my first full on smart fitness/running watch and it lunches above it's weight for the price. For running the gps is on point, you can even see which side of the road you was running on with very few anomalies. After you have completed a workout it gives you all the usual data, heart rate, km/mile split times and average pace, power in watts, cadence ect. You can review this info directly on the watch or within the Coros app (Strava does work too but I have tried using it with this watch yet). For gym workouts, it is reasonable. It can give you a body 'heat map' to show what muscles you've worked and how hard. It also gives you recommended rest times which is handy. You can upload your own workouts to your watch or download premade workouts from Coros's website (for strength and running, cycling ect. It's very good apart from with weights it can easily miss read reps either not registering them or registering too many. Unfortunately at this time you cannot correct this within the app.Another shortfall I feel is lack out compatibility with other apps such as myfitnesspal. I know Coros would like to keep you within their ecosystem which is good and definitely improving however I feel you should be able to pick and choose what apps you'd like to use. But again, this is improving. The build quality is good, it feels solid enough while being really light. I prefer not having the touch screen and using buttons instead. The plastics don't seem cheap and nasty and the silicon strap is nice. The weight is super light and I barely notice I'm wearing it. Also, I usually get about 5 days of battery including workouts (running using the higher accuracy GPS, gym workouts and high accuracy heart rate monitoring)Overall very happy, very good bang for the buck. I would buy this again for sure!

Lovely looking watch but completely inaccurate
Was really excited to have a watch to track open water swims. Did a lot of research and my friend has COROS pace 1 and it is great so I went for the pace 2. It’s a lovely looking watch and lightweight too. Unfortunately the GPS tracking is at least 300 metres off for every 500metres I swim. Also one of the buttons gets stuck pressed in so the watch turns off randomly. Contacted Amazon, they said contact supplier, supplier said contact manufacturer. Have had zero help from all 3, very disappointed with lack of customer support and the open water setting on the watch which is the only reason I wanted it. Don’t buy!

Watch fine, silicone strap lasted two runs!
Bought as a present for my son, he used it twice and the strap has broken. So disappointing, now in contact with seller to resolve, hopefully they will be able to help. Why have a strap that’s such poor quality for such an expensive watch? The watch itself is fine, son finds it suits and meets all his requirements for training, pacing etc.

Top notch sports watch
This is a really great watch with massive functionality and easy to use. Customer Service is top not too, forget the big brands that have dominated and brought little by way of innovation. COROS is the future of sports watches
