OB1 Anthracite Multi-Surface Construction Sealant & Adhesive - Hybrid Technology - Excellent Chemical Resistance - Water Resistant - Weather Resistant - 290ml

I used the "OB1 Black Multi-Surface Construction Sealant & Adhesive" to stick down corner trims and seal the edges of my van lining that I did. The silicon had good adhesion for the trims I was sticking down and it was very workable. It does not set too quick and did not skin over at all so I was able to get a nice finish to it without ridges or the "dragging effect" you sometimes get when silicons start to skin over. This silicon was also pretty odourless. My tube came with a nozzle also.

Good product but very thick to gun.

All in one sealant, filler, mastic. Flows smoothly as a filler, mastic. Acts as a glue as well. Sandstone colour is a light cream beige so blends well

This sealant is a quality product. The colour matches the chart and was perfect for gap that needed filling. Shame they don't do it in a smaller tube as only used a very small amount and will probably be hard next time I go to use it.

Found this about 10 years ago. Sealed round the bath which has an overhead shower and is used about 6 times a day (two footballing sons!) it just started crumbling last week so I had to skim the surface and re-cover to tidy up. I reckon if I’d used ordinary bathroom silicone I’d have had to re-do two or three times by now. Long lasting, cleaner to work with than silicone and also works well as an adhesive (I’ve used it for repairing tiles, sticking on skirting boards and all sorts.) just good stuff.

Use I got this to glue aluminium tread plate onto flat steel plate to avoid having to buy more expensive tread like stainless steel which I can't weld. Value This was on offer cheaper than certain DIY store with yellow and blue logos. I think it was £7/8 instead of £12 and it's a biggish tube compared to some smaller silicone sizes. Consistency It's somewhat sticky and I used a narrow bead which was quite hard to pump out. When I aligned the two pieces I had a bit of resistance trying to press them together and used clamps in the end. Hold/stick Once together and dry the pieces are held together very well. It's nice to have a seal as well as a glue. Colour I got Graphite colour which is quite nice and dark grey. Smell No noticeable smell. Overall I would recommend and will use again if I have the need for both a sealant and glue-like substance.

High quality product. Professional grade. Strong adhesion properties but can be removed if needed. I used it in the automotive area to bond a metal bracket to glass.
