With a little work these are as functional as they are cute
I love these cute curlers, but I didn't just by them for thier cuteness so let's get to it. I bought four packs of the Etude House Strawberry curlers. Their are counterfeits online so be careful. The fakes usually give you more berries for less or same money. The Etude House sponges are continuous piece so they don't fall apart like the cheaper ones that are said to separate after only a few uses. what they are supposed to do. Their is a tangle issue, by design because they are sponge and all sponge rollers grip hair by grabbing with the time holes within the sponge. If you can't see how to unwind the hair that is already tightly held by the sponge you will have troubles. Easiest solution is to use small paper end wraps. The next issue is getting them to stay. One blogger used small clips to hold them, I used large Bobby pins. Be careful not to run the through the sponge whichay cause damage. The curl is tight as sponge rollers will give so don't look for lose body waves and not for someone with super thick or hair past their shoulders unless you want to buy 20 packs. I would have given them 5 stars but took a star away because their are no directions and you have to buy end wraps and clips to make them work at their best without damage to the hair; if this had of been suggested on the package in I would have given 5 stars.

Cute but impractical
Alright, just like everyone else who bought this product, I was sold by the cute strawberry design and packaging. It did come looking like the photo, with the ever adorable strawberry-shaped foam shape which was, surprisingly, much bigger than I had anticipated. After unboxing, I was super excited to use the product and actually washed my hair for the 2nd time that day just to try the curlers. That's where the entire experience started going downhill. Aside from making me look super duper cute during the hairstyling process, these curlers did absolutely nothing. NOTHING. Firstly, I had a hard time keeping them in place (but that's probably because I have shorter, shoulder-length hair), they would keep falling off and rolling away into the abyss.Secondly, it's extremely hard to blowdry your hair when you use these curls (you know, if you're the type to blowdry curls), the bulky strawberries create a shield of sorts that blocks the good, dry air from your hairdryer and keeps your hair moist and weird; not to mention, since they do not adhere to the hair properly, wind from the hairdryer would cause them to flail around aimlessly, causing you to re-do the curls around 4 times before you give up and trust nature.Lastly, these things leave you with "curls" (I use that word loosely) that look like they've been twisted around by an eggbeater. They are ugly. They don't even look like curls. They just look like a mix of light waves and disappointment. I don't know, maybe I need to keep them on for a whole night but honestly, I doubt they can stay on 4 minutes after I fall asleep.tl;dr: these are cute, but that's the only thing it's got going for it. Better off using an actual hair curler or those plastic curlers with the holes that you can pin your hair onto.

Adorable product
I ordered 3 packs of the hair rollers, and they all arrived safely. They are super cute and I am so excited to use them! I got lucky and received the actual etude house products rather than the rip-offs, which seemed to be the problem with most of the reviews. They do smell a little bit like chemicals, but I expected this because they are foam and packaged in plastic. Overall, very cute and my friends are all jealous.

cute but...
these things sure are cute, and I'm positive I would have no problem sleeping in them since they're so plush, but even after read the instructions, I am not able to keep my hair in these lil things; there's only four, and my hair needs more than four. beyond that, I can't keep them in place either. maybe if they were more strawberries included AND it gave a better way to keep the hair inside, I'm sure the product would be much more useful.

I tried using them and it works for making large waves. You do have to be careful when unraveling. The sponge is a little delicate. It's cute and you can wear them while taking a nap and when waking up you can see the results of your bouncy waves. I don't use a lot of styling products but I just let the curls dry in the air.

Wasn't expecting much
Very cute, and they probably do work, but all four fell out of my hair while sleeping and it came out a crazy disaster. So, not very effective for at least those of us who move a lot during the night. Still, I'll give them a try during the day and see what happens.

Bought these cute hair rollers from gramshop and again, I wasn't disappointed! They're authentic Etude House and so adorable! She puts so much care into packing and I also got my 3 samples with a personalized note from her shop, I'll definitely be back, returned and happy customer! :-)

These work!
At first I was worried that they weren't going to work, that they were just for looks, but they work! These are really cute and very easy to use. The packaging has instructions on the back that show you how to put them on. Now that I have four I want to order more to use on the rest of my hair.
