iDesign Bar Soap Holder Case for Travel - Clear

I was willing to splurge for shipping on this soap case because I couldn't find any other type that could house my bath sponge. When I go to the gym I like to bring my own liquid soap and bath sponge. The bath sponge helps to save soap and it also gives a nice lather. When dry I can mix the sponge with the rest of my items, but when wet it needs to be separated by a case. All the other cases I found at local shops opened horizontally which would make it difficult to fit the sponge in without having the lid shut down on the sides. With this case the opening is vertical so I can just give my sponge a quick squeeze to let out excess water and easily stuff it into the case. the only issue is that the latch on the lid is not easy to close when the case is wet. But with practice I get better at it. It seems to work best when I use both thumb nails to press the latch down on the button. the soft rubber shell makes it so there are no plasticky corners catching on anything and it does a good job of keeping the rest of my gym bag dry even though it has a small hole at the bottom to drain out excess water.

I bought this back in January to use for my gym bag. I use it three times a week. The top doesn't seal completely but the latch keeps it closed. That is until the latch broke off a few days ago, making this completely useless now. Now I need another one and will not be buying this again. I like the material it's made of and the hole at the bottom for water to drain, but if this is for heavy gym use, it will not last.

I think it would be better for occasional use, like for the summer camping trip or a weeks vacation somewhere. I use it daily and I think a soap case that opens in half, length wise would better serve my purpose. The plastic is thick and tough but flexible, so I think it will hold up under wear and tear, and drops. It has a drain hole in the bottom so if you don't like getting soapy water on the rest of your stuff, you need to make sure the water is all drained out before putting it with your other items.

I wanted a good soap case for when I go to the gym. This container works very well. It fits any of the pieces of soap I put in. It is flexible/bendable. The latch is a little difficult, but you get used to it.The worst part is that it took a long time to remove the smell that it had when it arrived. The soap case had an overwhelming chemical smell inside when I opened it. It went away with time.Overall, I really like this case and recommend it.

It was an ok soap case. I liked the soft part of it but unfortunately the lid didn't quite close well, so I was always afraid that my wet soap would spill onto the rest of my toiletry kit...I didn't have the product for too long. I actually forgot it at a place on my first travels with it.That must have been a sign.

first off this is a heavy duty bar soap holder , it does have a small hole in the bottom to let out the water / moisture the bar has on it . so u do not want this to put ur bar soap in and put it in with your clothes , because they will get wet and soapy ! other than that , I use it to keep my face bar soap in , in the shower that way it doesn't get wasted at all due to the total protection from moisture , it's lid seals well . it does have a latch to keep the lid shut , I have no problems opening it or it staying closed ! all around this is great for keeping ur bar soap safe in the shower , this is not what I would use for traveling with my bar soap . due to the hole to drain off the water from after use of bar soap.

I bought this item so i can carry my soap around for the gym and first thing i see when i get this item the Plastic clip is way to sensitive and it does not close properly. Also in the bottom there are 2 holes that I can already tell they are going to be a problem since i will have this in my gym bag if the soap is wet its certainty going to leak through and wet my bag. Honestly this was the worst 10 dollars spent. Item is not worth this price its so sensitive and does not close properly and the two holes in the bottom are ridiculous.

This thing is amazing. I’m my shower bag, the top flap allows the soap to be quickly and efficiently retrievable. When you take it out: of you place it on a ledge, the top being open actually angles the body of the container, ensuring the soap stays in there and doesn’t allow the soap to fall, slip, or slide out. This container has a hole in the bottom, allowing washing and air-drying while in the shower so that your travel bag doesn’t get soap-scummy or weird (if you wash the container and rinse the soap bubbles off everything before you put it away and begin traveling, then this container will keep everything clean during travel and your bar soap will dry and travel well).
