I only have one car left that has drum brakes and they need to be replaced. I did not want to invest a lot but I also did not want something that was going to get my fingers smashed, these fit the bill and worked as expected.

Used on a 2002 Tacoma. They're pretty basic tools and sort of work. The long-handled spring stretcher could use some actual grips, it takes a LOT of leverage to pull a spring out of/into position, and the lack of an actual grip made it harder than it needed to be. The spoons for adjusting the brake shoes need to be about 1/4 the thickness to be useful. Too thick, and edges too blunt, to effectively spin the adjuster. Primarily I went back to the old stand-by, a pair of vice grips, to install the new springs. Brutal, treacherous, slips off and draws blood, but ultimately effective. This kit may work better on your car than mine. Who knows. The tool to install the shoe hold-down pins works reasonably well, easier to control than a pair of vice grips. As terrible as a drum brake job is, they did help somewhat. For the price, I'd buy them again. Probably saved me some skin, cursing and maybe 15-20 minutes of wrestling around with screwdrivers and pry bars (and of course vise grips).

Way nicer than the crap at the auto parts store and 1/3 the price.

I've had no problems with Orion have bought 2 sets of tools from them although case got alot of unknown dirt or residue on it like salt maybe everything on the inside is original looking not a return that someone used once and broke so far actually good haven't used to see if it's ok quality yet hopefully it holds up to be able to use more than just once if it breaks I'll update but pleased at this point

Decent quality, nice case, has all the tools you'll need.

I have only used the adjustment spoon so far and it worked fine. There two of them so you can choose the one that works best for the angles you need. The rest of the kit contains tools that would be useful for doing a complete brake shoe replacement. Convenient plastic case for keeping them all in on place..
