Pearson Mechanics of Materials in SI Units

An excellent book for mechanics of materials. Well written, with many examples presented in detail. Moreover, it is the only book that I found with strain hardening exercises.

Ottimo libro molto chiaro e soprattutto lineare nelle spiegazioni. Lo studio della materia avviene passo passo, sicuramente da consigliare per chi si approccia alla materia senza nessuna conoscenza preliminare.

The book is an excellent textbook for mechanical 2nd year engineering students.If you are an instructor and need access to "Instructor Resources", as advertised in the book back cover, forget it.After asking the Instructor access on 21 of December 2018, two emails sent (January 02 and February 18) to the contact desk ([email protected]) no answer, not even an email receipt/acknowledgement! extremely frustrating.
