Purchased two times now - great product. Just a great coarse grind of both pepper and salt. We put it into a ceramic shaker that has large enough holes (not huge holes, but you know...), and use it every day on everything we want salt and pepper on. My personal favorite trait is: you only need ONE HAND! No screwing a cap, holding a grinder, blah blah. Just pick this up, tip it over and there you are. Great for grilling, yes - but don't hesitate to use it in your kitchen as a choice for great flavor and ease of dispensing.

I used this for an ancho sauce that I made for grilling. This product is great quality and has great flavor.

Makes meat a lot tastier

Perfect for brisket and ribs. This is what Aaron Franklin himself recommends. Also used it on chicken. Adds texture as well as flavor.

This product tastes just fine, and it's a good spice additive for food. However, I noticed it was not nearly as hot as some other habanero powder I'd had. When I smelled it right from the container, it was paprika that I smelled, not habanero. I looked at the ingredient list, and it did say "other spices".This is not a bad mixture, but it's not marketed as a mix, and clearly the paprika is a cheaper diluting ingredient. If you're making a mix, market it as a mix and let people know what they're actually buying.Edit: I've bumped this from 3 to 4 stars. The company contacted me to try to resolve this, and wound up refunding my money. This was very generous on their part, and far more than I asked for or expected. So kudos to them. I will buy from them again, and got good value for my money (even pre refund). But the original problem remains, and hence the 4, and not 5, stars.

Really good product! Like the value and price! The blend comes out best when shaken side-to-side.

This is a high quality seasoning. It is also a good value for the size of the container. It will add some nice heat to your dish.
