The Chicwrap Shiplap Professional dispenser is a must . After over a decade, there, special technique of creating pressed cardboard dispensers has been superb, the durability is awesome, and it’s environmentally the best way to go. The form of the dispenser stays just as strong as the first day I received it. Their cutters are the best, the stainless steel is number one because after 12 years plus I’ve never had to change the blade and I have used multiple 1000 foot rolls of plastic wrap in that time. This is the only dispenser that will hold up to 1000 foot rolls of wrap, the others do not have the depth or the heights inside to hold anything larger than a 250 foot roll. Purchasers need to understand this, it’s not complicated…… When you buy the original combo dispenser and roll, that is the largest size of rule you’re going to be able to use. So, as I mentioned the above dispenser, is their professional size for the 750 foot roll and I know also use a 1000 foot roll because it fits. ALL THE OTHER DISPENSERS. That come with a 250 foot roll will only fit another 250 foot roll, that’s how they’re designed, it’s not complicated. AS FOR USERS complaining that when they need to cut the food wrap, the box tips over… Because you are not lifting the food wrap up vertically first… If you do the bucks never tips over it can’t because it’s being allowed to rest completely on its bottom surface. So if you are trying to pull the food wrap towards you horizontally you are going to create your own problem. Any product is going to tip over. So change the way you do it and you will not have any tipping over issues. Also, after you have pulled the amount, you want vertically, let it fall loosely over the cutter, and there won’t be any tension on the food wrap, making it difficult to grab the next time. I’m not a rocket scientist, I learn these things through trial and error, and I like to let others know, how something can make a difference in their lives. The dispensers for sale come with the stated, size roll, and that is the same size of roll that will only fit in that dispenser size. Recently, the 750 foot rolls for the professional dispenser have been unavailable, but it’s never long before production catches up with demand, if desperate, just buy another combo and you will have a spare dispenser that comes with another 750 foot roll that you can use immediately. The professional size also holds a 1000 foot roll of food wrap if you’re that desperate but it won’t be the Chicwrap food wrap brand. But I have found a brand that meets my needs in comparison to the quality of Chicwrap, and then I just stock up as soon as the 750 foot rolls are back for sale. I do have a couple of plastic food wrap dispensers, but they do not come close to the efficiency in use of the Chicwrap product, and are in fact more fragile then Chicwrap’s quality, environmentally, friendly production of dispensers. Lastly, Chicwrap also sells replacement cutters that are adhesive just like the original in a two pack, so that down the road in many years, if the cutter needs replacing, you are always be able to maintain the high standard, professional product of cutter assembly that came with the original dispenser. Every item I have talked about is available on Amazon, you don’t have to be looking in stores or running around town…… From the first dispenser, you buy that comes with a cutter and a roll of food wrap (remember the size you buy is the size you have to live with in terms of roll) to the individual rolls of food wrap(the size you bought is the size you have to replace it with), to needing new replacement, cutter assemblies…… All of it’s available on Amazon. As a consumer, I have always stayed with a brand or a type of product that works the first time, every time and lasts and lasts and lasts. All the other complaints are just noise.

This is an absolutely great product. It sits in my drawer and as a pleasure to use.

My order arrived damaged and unusable. Film holder was cracked, cutter track damaged and cutter no where to be found. Amazon replaced it in 2 days. While significantly better than grocery store plastic film dispensers, it's still just cardboard. The non skid feet are a plus. Good until I find a better product.

You won’t find anything out there that works better then this! I gave it to a lot of my friends for Christmas one year. It’s the absolute best wrap on the market.

It works but it's made of...cardboard. $50 and it's cardboard. Oh well.

Works as described. Cardboard box is sturdy enough. Large roll is included; easier to pull plastic after used and shrinks down in size.

My hubby bought this for the dispenser and we were very disappointed. It's made of very thin cardboard and was already bowing in at the top. This unit will be lucky if it last a month. To us, this was not worth the 50$+ price tag. Again, this is only a review for the dispenser, not the plastic wrap itself.

Excelente compra ya que el gobierno MX no permite vender plástico a las tiendas y COSTCO ya no lo vende más. Me ahorre una ida la centro a buscarlo.
