Saved my shoulders and neck. Great value for the money, durable. I hit every day and so far no wear. But I am an older guy with a slower swing speed so don't know what a monster hitter would do to it. It seems very sturdy though. It is forgiving to the shoulders but not to a bad hit behind the ball which is a good thing.

This was a great lower cost option compared to the full mat. I ended up getting foam gym tiles, putting a cheap matt on top and cutting out the section for the country club elite. Worked out great and saved me a few hundred dollars.

When I built my home simulator I was already so deep in cost that I went cheap on the mat. I sure wish I would have just bought the larger version of this brand in the first place. So what I did, I cut out that area of my sub par mat, and added this. WOW, what a MASSIVE difference.I can swing my irons EXACTLY like I would on course. Down and through. No pain, no elbow injuries, shoulders feel great. When I tried that on my previous mat, I would get injured.I am SO glad I found this. I am already planning on just getting the large version of this brand and be done with it.You absolutely get what you pay for with golf mats. And this one is absolutely a dream to hit off of.

Holding up well to this point. Soft enough on the elbows but firm enough to realize a bad strike.

I practice golf at home several times a week and have for years. I go through a golf mat every couple of months. This is the best one I have used. It is more durable than the others and much softer on impact. Also, you can use a real tee with this mat. I highly recommend it!

I cut out a section in my 5x5Mat and inserted this in its place. Much better on my elbows. I had gotten really bad tennis elbow on both arms. One side is healed and the other side is better. I’ll probably need to stop hitting balls for aMonth to heal completely. Yeah, that’s not happening. My score keeps dropping and I’m on a mission!

It's too damn stiff. You can't realistically hit an iron shot with a simulated divot. If you don't "pick" the ball with every swing then you aren't going to get your regular distance off this strip.I bet it holds up great outdoors, but the other types of mat inserts are much nicer to hit off.

I originally used cheaper thinner mats but as they wore out I would start getting pain in my wrists and elbows. This mat totally changed that. You can actually hit through the ball with out worrying about catching the mat and sending all that force into your joints.
