Worked well - low level of mites afterwards
I use this as a summer treatment, to alternate with oxalic acid (using only 1 treatment tend to build varroa mites that are resistant to that treatment over time. Alternative helps this).Any way, easy to use. When I did the oxalic acid treament in the fall afterwards I was surprised by the very low level of mites. Seems to work good.Watch out, this is hard on eggs and larvae, it says it can kill a bunch short them, so do not use on a hive that is trying to raise a new queen.

Works great to Control Varroa Mites!
This product worked great for us on our four honeybee hives. It was an economical alternative to purchasing all the equipment necessary for oxalic acid treatment. We have found that using this in conjunction with a friend helping out with and oxalic acid treatment in the winter works well for our hives. We used the two treatment method as described in the instructions. Definitely plan on using this in the spring and fall within the 50 to 80° temperature range to prevent damage to bees. Educate yourself with videos too!

Turns mites into worm food and only kills a few bees if done properly
Please take your honey supers off when doing this. Don't give people honey that has this chemical in it; that is just a terrible idea.I treated a few hives and removed the spent strips about a week later. The bees run for the hills when you place this on top of the brood frames, this is definitely their kryptonite. Some bees will inevitably be culled by this treatment and the undertaker bees will toss them asunder with extreme prejudice. Once the torment has ended, remove and discard the strips, bid ado to the mites and pour out a little malt liquor for dead bee homies. Re-introduce honey supers and get back to business.

Overall good
Package arrived earlier than expected & product seems to be in good shape (expiration date is over a year out). Deducted one star because they just sent the strips in the sealed envelope w/o the box. For storing, I prefer to get the product in the box.

Good price for a quality product.
I wish we did not need this but mites are a reality and these are needed to keep your hives healthy and alive. Our local Bee expert uses these as part of his operation and last year he only lost 1 of his 70 hives over the Winter. Obviously there is more to it, but these are a part of the solution.

Works great !!!
This stuff is easy to use and works great! Do not touch it or dispose of it in properly. I recommend putting the used ones in a plastic bag and tie it shut and put it in a plastic trash bag. Smells bad so store in a can till trash day. Highly recommend this as it really works well !!

Works great! 😊
Easy to use and works really well! I do suggest if you have not used it before to do the ONE strip dosage first! I have heard of it killing lots of bees and the queen before but I have never had any problems or issues using it other than killing the older bees that are on the way out anyway. I do recommend just follow the instructions!
