Kirby amiibo - Nintendo Switch

I liked how fast it came in the mail

I'd like to state that this review is only for the Amiibo itself and not the packaging. Additionally, I'm not concerned with the in-game compatibility with these because I don't own the new Kirby game yet; simply like to collect these guys.The new line of Kirby Amiibo's are incredible. From the weight, to the coloring (none of the ones I picked up had any printing mistakes - and I'm the guy in the story holding up three different versions of the same figure to compare), to the over all aesthetic of the characters is exactly what I look for in Amiibo.Even though most of the characters are reprints from the Super Smash Bros. line of Amiibo in different poses, I really appreciate that Nintendo gave them a distinct feel.When comparing this Amiibo to the SSB Amiibo it's purely a matter of preference. They are both solid, well colored, and have cute poses. For my money though, the star steals the show. The picture can't do justice to how delightfully charming Kirby is in person.

I was bummed when I wasn't able to get the original Smash Bros Variant of the Kirby Amiibo, and even more bummed when I wasn't able to get the Kirby line variant too. Needless to say I was so happy when Nintendo decided to re-release this amiibo in time Kirby And The Forgotten Land on Switch. Really nice touch with Kirby sitting on a Warp Star. A great addition to anyone's amiibo collection!

As long as you don’t plan on a nice box then it’s a good present. The boxed was shoved into another box, the top of the Kirby box was bent and destroyed. Kinda want to return it but it’s too close to Christmas now

Works great with our Nintendo Switch. We used it with our Kirby Return to Dreamland game and it gave coins and energy for health to fight opponents. These are so convenient when your playing Nintendo games as it works with other games as well. The shipping was fast & convenient!!

I purchased this for my girlfriend as she's a really big Kirby fan. She absolutely loved it and I have no regrets buying it for her. The quality of the amiibo is very good and it's decently sized too so it fits on her shelf nicely. Haven't tried the amiibo functionality but it probably works as intended for specific games. Highly recommend this to anyone who likes Kirby or likes to collect amiibo.

I am an avid collector of Amiibo products and have over 45 of them in my collection. When I saw the new Kirby lineup, I had to purchase them. Especially because I missed out on purchasing the original Kirby and King Dedede editions.The detail on these Amiibos is similar to that of others; however, I feel that these ones are more vibrant that previous iterations. They're cute and look nice on an entertainment center or shelving unit, depending on how you have yours set up.If you are an Amiibo collector, or need them for Kirby: Planet Robobot Kirby: Planet Robobot - Nintendo 3DS Standard Edition functionality, I highly recommend purchasing these!

I received this new version of Kirby as part of simultaneous release of other Amiibos for the upcoming- kirby planet robobot for the 3ds. Other Amiibos I purchased were the newer version of King Dedede, newer version of Meta Knight, and first timer Waddle Dee.I really prefer this new version of Kirby because although smaller, Nintendo decided to add more variety by added the Star as a pedestal for Kirby, as opposed to just Kirby himself in the Super Smash Bros. version (attached both in the photos for comparison). That old version looked just a tad bland, just sitting there, looking too round and bored.
