I purchased the ASUS WS x570 ACE mother board for GPU machine learning and ray tracing projects. It's an interesting board that dedicates PCIe lanes away from the second m.2 on the chipset to support a full PCIe3.0x4 on a single U.2 connector. This adapter allows me to run an OS off that drive at full speed. It is incredibly well made, way over engineered. I expect it to outlast a nuclear winter.
