Not as advertised
Despite the printed power output, it didn't run a record player which was within output limits

Good power supply, if a bit expensive.
This is certainly a good 12V power supply. It's got a constant voltage regardless of load, and on my oscilloscope there was no electrical noise. The case doesn't feel flimsy and appears unlikely to fall apart (I've had that with some before).Under load it doesn't whine or get warm. The standard 5.5mm connector works with most 12V items I've got. Ideal for Arduino projects as well as powering appliances. I've even used it to charge my portable car jump starter. It's not cheap, but if you want top quality and something reliable, this seems a good bet.

Simple 12v supply with plug as advertised.
Not a lot to say really - this is a pretty stable12v power supply with the low voltage plug as advertised. At just under a tenner at the time of this review it's not the cheapest but it does work fine.I hope this has been helpful :)

Works As Described
I was using this to power a 4K security camera and it had been working fine outlasting the camera which was not as weather resistant as it claimed. No problems.

Didn't work for my Yamaha keyboard - this is a positive centre power supply.
This 12 V power supply was listed as suitable for a Yamaha keyboard. However, this charger is standard - it has a positive centre and a negative outer barrel. For my keyboard, the opposite is required with a negative centre - this is quite unusual these days. Accordingly, the adapter didn't work. So, if you are considering this adapter for a keyboard, I recommend checking what polarity the tip of the charger is required to be.As for working as a standard 12 V adapter, it worked fine. I used it to power an external hard disk successfully. With an output of 2000 mA, this adapter is capable of supplying up to 24 W, so it can be used to power a range of 12 W equipment.

Seems business like and performing well
This is a review of the NorthPada Power Supply adaptor that converts 240 volts down to a useable 12V 2A supply and I am using it to power our kitchen small flat screen 14 inch television. Its a neat stylish item and it replaces one (different make/brand) that burnt out - it took over nine years to achieve this greatness though - but that one always ran slightly ‘warm’ to the touch so to speak. This one on the other hand is quite good as I used a meter to check what the output is and it gave a decent 12.11 volts read-out, so quite happy with that plus it runs, so far and counting!, cool with literally no heat or warmth coming from it. I am pleased with it and would recommend it.

Can't Fault It - Good Value
I actually requested this adaptor to use with a Seagate hard-drive caddy as the output and adaptor size was correct for it, and I have used this type before. On opening the box I really liked the look of the transformer it has an almost Art Deco curved moulding, it looks like some thought has been put into the design.I worked straight out of the box and my hard drive caddy fired up and its been working without issue.I think it is a very good price (£9 .99 p at time of the review) and can understand why it has the Amazon Choice award. I'd definitely recommend it.
