Yokota thread is my favorite Sashiko thread!
Beautiful thread that’s easy to work with—threads smoothly through the needle, and the colors are absolutely fabulous!

Very high quality
This Sashiko thread is just the right thickness for mending denim and canvas. It works very well and looks great. Great choice for the newcomer or old timer it's easy to use. It is plenty durable I use this on work clothes and materials that see rough service. This is a high quality thread made in Japan and I love this brand.

Quality Sashiko Thread!
While I have not yet had a chance to use these beautiful threads, I am thrilled with the apparent quality. They are better than anything I have looked at. Colors are saturated, hand is soft. I had been using crochet thread but no more I am sure!

Strong, quality sashiko thread
It is much thinner than sashiko thread I have used in the past. But it the product description clearly states it’s a fine, thin thread. So I will not minus a star for it. It is a strong, quality thread that takes natural dyes beautifully. It is perfect for stitching in the ditch type quilting and for finer sashiko patterns. Though it is strong enough for quilting, I would not recommend it for denim or other heavyweight fabric mending. It would work better for medium to light weight fabric mending.

Makes a difference.
First sashiko project, didn’t want to spend a ton on supplies in case I wasn’t sold. But I am. Learned the hard way that sashiko thread makes a difference in creating a polished look. I had started my project with embroidery floss, and you can see exactly where I switched. Might not make a difference with larger projects but my grid is spaced out in rows/columns of 5mm. If you’re on the fence, just get it. ideal thickness and better tension control than embroidery floss.
