I have used this from day 5 of bringing my baby home (first in the sink, then in the bathtub). She is 5 months old today, and it is just tearing to the point of not being able to use it. I wring it out after every bath and put it on a drying rack, and it is generally dry by the next day.My daughter has enjoyed being on this and it has never caused issues. When she has had the occasional bathtub blow out, I simply drain the tub, refill with water, add some bleach, and soak everything in it, then rinse. The bleach discolors the sponge, but it is still quite usable and sanitized. Never smells moldy, holds my baby well, and I am going to order another one to use from now, and then when she is a bit older, she can sit on it in the bathtub if she wants. Great buy for small spaces, and super easy to clean!

I have a super small bathroom and using a normal baby tub isn't an option for my family. They take up too much room even if you leave it in the tub.These are a great alternative for me because I can just leave it in the tub for my toddler and older kid to sit on when in the bath instead of putting a baby tub on the floor and creating an unsafe walking path. I do suggest replacing every 3 months but it is awesome!

My husband and I were 0% prepared to give a sponge bath by the time my son was born. The closest thing we had was a kitchen sponge and nowhere to put the baby.We ordered this and it arrived just in time for our son's first "bath." It straightened out fairly quickly (within a day). For the first few weeks of his life, we would put a puppy pad on the bathroom counter and this sponge on top of it. We would then wash him on the sponge. The system worked great and no water was spilled. Now, we're using the sponge in his baby bathtub to prop him up a bit, since he's still a bit wormy.I would recommend purchasing more than one if your child enjoys pooping without a diaper on. We've had an explosive poop on this sponge, and I decided to cut my losses and throw it away and order another.

My daughter is eight months, and we’ve purchased this sponge three times now. At first we tried using one of the big plastic tubs, but quickly ditched it for the sponge, and we’re so glad we did! It is so easy to just lay her flat on the sponge for bathtime. She loves it. We love it. And it’s really inexpensive. The reason we have ordered three is because they do get moldy on the bottom if you’re not super careful.
