The pan I received has the hexagonal hole pattern like Lloyd Pans Quik Discs. But it has the 3/4 inch deep side rim, so it’s alright. I like it better than if it had round holes spaced further apart, as in the photos. On the underside, however, the hexagonal holes have a sharp, slightly raised burr on them, which will destroy any sponge or wash rag if you’re hand washing it. Sanding down all the sharp-edged holes would be laborious and time consuming and not worth it. Plus, you’d be sanding off the non-stick coating. If hand wash-ability isn’t an issue for you, this Lloyd Pan is durable, hefty and solid, and the cooking surface is perfection.
