Great boots and comfortable

Good boots
This is the second pair of these boots that I have bought. The first pair lasted for about four years and are almost worn out and so I bought the same again. I am wearing them in right now. They are comfortable and long-lasting but that’s why I was prepared to pay a little more than the cheap rubbish out there.

Not waterproof
I’ve owned various Magnum boots over the years so had high hopes for these. I’ve always found them comfortable and relatively durable and hardwaring. Most importantly for me in my outdoor job is waterproofing and that’s where these boots failed me. I’ll be looking elsewhere next time as there are boots making similar claims for a lot less money. Disappointing.

Good boot
I’ve always bought magnum boots. The ‘heavy metal’ boot of my youth. Tough and flexible. Not always waterproof but doesn’t say it is. Size fits as described and comfortable. I’ve found a cushioned insole helps as they age. Typically have lasted nearly 3 years of hardish use with the soles being the first to wear through/out. Uppers remain pretty sturdy

Sturdy and comfortable
Bought for work as having had several pairs of Magnum boots previously. I have always found them to be comfortable and long lasting. This pair is the first I have had with the side zipper, and it does make them easier to get on and off.

My first pair of Magnum boots, some twenty five years ago, seemed to last forever, something close to ten years. My second pair still lasted a respectable four years. You can see where this is going. The ones I bought summer of '24 just disintegrated on me. Ordered a new pair 'Viper Pro 8.0+ Side Zip Lightweight Patrol Boot -UK9 EU43'. Ok, except that the item that arrived was the model without the zip. At this point in life and in my circumstances the zip makes for a less stressful life. Looks like someone was not paying attention or decided that what I ordered was not what I wanted Thanks anyway, Magnum.
