First time purchasing D1 Mini clones (normally use full size NodeMCUs) and spent hours diagnosing a project just to find all 10 of boards were faulty in a variety of ways. Some couldn't be flashed. Some seemed to flash but just went into a boot loop because of corruption. Some worked (for about 5 minutes) before getting extremely hot and failing completely.QC on these is non-existent. Avoid like the plague.

Good bulk of these boards for creating neat little wifi controlled projects. Not had an issue with any of these, and test flashed every single unit on arrival to ensure no faults.Got a few in deployment and daily usage with no issues at all.

These little boards are amazing. Unit cost less than 3 pounds. Easy to program. Powerful. Capable. Good libraries. Deploy the programs over a USB port. And full Wi-Fi built in.What is there not to like..?

I was very disappointed. One pack had headers but no board, 4 were DOA, 4 failed to power the WiFi and 2 seemed to work, but one broke after a week.

Theses are total rubbish. Buyer beware and check out the internet for wemos/lolin D1 mini clones. No end of problems and completely not suitable for purpose. They do not boot correctly and the voltage regulator is way out of the requirements of the 8266. All of the 10 modules I purchased would not boot correctly.
