High security quality padlocks

So far so good. I use them exposed in the elements and no issues. Has a flap that covers the keyway when not in use. I like Abus locks and these seem to be of good quality that offer some pick/shim resistance compared to Master locks and the generic locks. I subscribe to Bosnianbill and lockpickinglawyer on YouTube so I wanted to go with a fairly decent security lock that would at least put up a little fight. Could've gone with the dimple key design of the better abus locks to up my security/ pick difficulty but I chose this one since I needed two locks on my toolbox and didn't want two separate keys to carry. The two locks came with 4 keys and they are all keyed the same. I'm very happy, would recommend for a medium security affordable lock.

Overall this looks like a quality, durable product like what I'm accustomed to.However, the major disappointment was how thin the shackle was.By no way does it look flimsy but I am a bit concerned.

did a lot of research. who knew there was so much to know about locks. anyway. landed on this and have bought several batches for my gates around the yard and shipping container. has only been a few months but seems to be holding up nicely. haven't seen any rust yet and the lock operate flawlessly.would recommend

I've been using these two locks year round outside for 2 years now. One is on our trailer, and get opened more than the other and works great. Yes sometimes there is water in the cap covering the key hole, but its brass, so hasn't had any effect, more it just keeps out dirt. The other lock is on our gate at the beach, which we don't open nearly as often as the one on the trailer. I like these locks so much I just ordered 2 more, one for the shed as the cheap brass lock it has doesn't like to work all the time. And then I'll have a spare for whatever comes up that I need one.

Bought these to put on dumpsters so people do not throw stuff away in them or dumpster dive. Lock and unlock fine, even when it's below 0°F outside. I don't spend all day locking/unlocking them outside in below freezing weather, if I did, maybe I'd experience issues with them locking and unlocking in the cold. But for what I bought them for, they work great. Last locks I had from another brand I had to use a torch on for 20 seconds if it was very cold. They broke or someone broke them off, that's why I bought these.

We had purchased a different lock that was expensive and supposed to be weatherproof, but it wasn't. This one was perfect. It's solid obstruction and extremely resistant to the elements!

We bought these locks for our camper, and we are very happy with them! Previously, we had cheap low-quality padlocks, and they were a disaster! We liked that these had brass construction, and that they have the little cover that keeps the locking mechanism safe from the elements. We now have four of these locks for various camping-related uses, and we are very pleased with our purchase of these Abus locks!!

Just okay, nothing special, keys are a bit too puny, a fairy could break them.

This is the best brand of outdoor padlocks that I've ever used. I needed them for my backyard shed and deckbox, and wanted to have the same key for both. Buying the 2 pack allowed me to do that. The price was great and it came with 4 identical keys. I would highly recommend them for outdoor applications. I live in Toronto, Canada, where winters can be harsh, but these padlocks can easily handle them.

Loop is a little small for the ABUS 12ks chain, but it will close. I have placed lock in an upright manner and do not seem to be bothered by rain or freezing. Will buy again.

Looking mechanism get bended. Never open again
