Very good, clear information and maps, alternative routes provided so off road sections can be used if weather, bike type and rider suit. Accommodation, bike shops and places of interest on route well covered.

Exactly what I was after. A very detailed guide and lovely sounding route.

Rode the C2C Scotland route the first week of May 2016. Wonderful route through scenic lowlands of Scotland. The Ultimate Scottish C2C guide was so helpful. The route is very well marked the whole trip. The roads are mainly country roads, less traveled, and bike friendly. More sheep than people the whole route, beautiful scenery. Guesthouses recommended in the book are right on the route, comfortable, as well as bike friendly. Very manageable daily mileage. Will become a very popular cycle route within the next few years.
