Good customer service...
The first model was very defective but a company rep reached out to me and offered either my money back or to send a second product, I liked the item and felt the parts were study so I requested a second pull-up bar. This time around, it fit together perfectly. I set it up (without the J hinge) and it held together perfectly while I executed 12 pull-ups (I weigh 175 pounds). I feel this item will last a while and I am happy with the purchase.

Flat out lie that it doesn't need screws. 19 total including 8 to mount brackets to the doorway.
COMPLETELY MIS-REPRESENTING the process of installationA Pull Up bar that markets itself as a totally movable and temporary with no need to screw into the door frame.Well that is a lie. You have to assemble the whole pull up assembly with nuts and screws (11 in total) and a further 8 screws and 8 wall anchors are required to SCREW THE J BRACKET MOUNTINGS to the door frame. The Amazon description quotes: "[NO SCREWS NO HOLES & AT-HOME WORKOUT]- The mechanical leverage structure has access to high security. Simple installation, NO screws, NO holes. We don’t need to drill or fix the chin up bar to the door permanently". It took an hour to install - assembling the structure and then measuring and installing the J brackets to the door frame - lots of screws - 8 holes. In a response to a question in Customer Q&A, the company quotes: "The device is designed for temporary installation. It rests on your door frame molding with a little metal clip that holds it in place. The effort is to just lift it over that metal clip." That 'little clip' is a 4 screw J bracket that is PERMANENTLY attached to the doorframe until you unscrew it all, fill in the holes and repaint the frame. The end result is not bad but if your doorframe is narrow like ours is the open end of the U-shaped piece digs into the doorframe.Do not buy unless your doorframe is very wide and you are not concerned with a set of permanent brackets above your door.

Assemble is not easy
The instruction sheet is unclear. For example, on the parts list, there is screw F, but on the assembly picture there is no F at all.You need to have an engineering thinking to view the assembly picture to put all the parts together.I wish it has assembling steps, that would make the assemble much easier. For the door J bracket instruction, the pictures are too dark to understand.

Perfect choice with this budget
This is the best pull up bar I have ever seen. Especially during the epidemic, it is really convenient to have such a pull up bar at home. I spent 20 minutes assembling, and then I tried it, it was very strong

Reasonable price with the product
It’s an great product. Strong and stable. Price is pretty reasonable. The only think need to consider is your wall have to be wide enough and it need to be an swing in door.
