CEP Construction Electrical Products 6400M 100-Feet Black Rubber Temporary Power Cord with 50-Amp Plug Ends

I purchased this 100 ft long cable to be able to run my portable generator away from my house under shelter. I had to change one end to be able to plug it into my generator but the other end plugs right into my external plug on the outside of my house. This thing is HEAVY I re-purposed a garden hose roller cart to be able to better handle it. I have not used the cord yet but have no concerns that it will meet all my needs.

I am pleased to see this cable uses the Hubbell connectors. They are superior to the Marinco. I also like that this uses 4 - 6AWG conductors rather than a 6/3 - 1/8 config, while maintaining a smaller overall diameter. Very well made, too. Good stuff.I bought it thinking I would need to run 2ea 50A circuits to the stage of an outdoor music event, 1 for audio, 1 for lights, but it turns out a single 50A circuit was enough for both. No problem, because now I have it for future expansion, a longer run or a spare.

This is an extraordinarily heavy duty cord. Because it is 100 feet long it ends up being about as heavy as a human being can lift. Consider purchasing 250 foot cords instead, even though doong so is much more expensive. This cable is fine if you're not going to move your power box around very much.

Just arrived and looks like great quality. I wanted a flexible wire and this looks to be flexible.

This product is a rubber covered wire of high quality. The cord ends are made by Hubbell and the cord is made by Carol.
