This product did not work for me. Instructions are very vague as well. There is a power light (indicating that the converter is powered up), and an SDI lock light, which made no sense to me. The SDI lock light came on when HDMI plug was plugged into a dvd player, but would not turn on when HDMI was plugged into my DVR. Without HDMI plugged in the light remained off, even if I had my SDI BNC Coax cable plugged in. So I have no idea what that light is for or why is was turning on with my DVD player, but not my DVR.

Ordered two, neither worked with a modern video camera and professional SDI monitor. Returning.

Save ur money doesn't work

I bought both the transmitter and receiver from these people to make sure they would be compatible. I've used Monoprice in the past and they were simple plug and play. I though maybe my run was too long so I connected the units next to one another and still no video. Returning for refund. But now have to go back to the client to install again.

Bought this item to send the video signal from a Security System DVR to a TV monitor in the bedroom. Tried using RG6 co-axial cable via BNC to coax adapter terminating with a coax to video adapter to connect to a TV monitor. Doesn't work! Tried using a security camera cable ending with a video adapter at the end. Doesn't work. Asked for help at the company site. No response! I thought I have found the answer to my needs, but no such luck! The DVR ONLY has HDMI and VGA video outputs.
