OK, the seller is a little sloppy here. Basically what I received was an unassembled vacuum thrown into a big carton. So, definitely a repack. The outer dust jacket was soiled, and this may have happened during shipping as the box had huge gash and opening which perhaps a fork lift had penetrated. OK about this vacuum. First of all it is New Old Stock. This vacuum was actually manufactured 20 years ago... Yes, 1997. It was actually manufactured in the U.S.A. or Mexico, and came with a long discontinued Eureka ESP 5.0 amp motor. This unit was made by Lamb motor in the U.S.A. and has not been available for over a decade. The vacuum is new, but there is absolutely no Warranty! Aside from that what a great little vacuum. Sturdy, well assembled, and quality components throughout. Basically a Eureka Boss Vacuum with a better motor, and a headlight, which I purchased below wholesale. I am returning it though, unless the seller makes me a deal that I cannot refuse, then I might decide to keep it.

This is just what I was looking for!!! This is very similar copy of the Eureka BOSS, but less money!. Well worth the $68!! This is the type of Vacuum you could get in almost any department store back in the day! But now the few choices you have are all complex assembled Pieces of Plastic that cost over $200 and breakdown easily! I liked it so much i bought one for my elderly father in law who used to have a Eureka Vac, he loves it!Simple to use!
