Exactly as described
Made my headset feel new again. Make sure it fits your bike and you’re good to go!

Good quality. Just wrong size.
Wrong size. Too busy at work. Missed return window.

Remanufactured or defective
Bearing grinds and doesn’t spin freely. Seller did allow me to return so can’t complain there. I wouldn’t purchase again

Perfect fit
It was a perfect fit for my Aero-Road bike bottom headset bearing. Got me back on the road and so far I put 90 miles on the bike, with its steering as smooth as the day I bought the bike.

Smooth but Stiff
I recently picked up a frame that was built for internal cable routing. It uses an integrated headset and requires 52mm bearings top and bottom rather than the more conventional 42/28 bearing on top and 52/40 bottom. I went with a Ritchey upper headset that allows internal routing with “legacy” bars and stem. For the lower headset I already had a Cane Creek baseplate, so I just needed a 52/40 bearing. I ordered this one; when it arrived I was a little surprised how stiff it feels compared to the FSA, Wolf Tooth, and Chris King bearings that I’ve used previously, as well as the bearing that Ritchey used in the upper headset. Maybe it’ll loosen up as it breaks in; for now it feels very smooth but steering effort is higher than I would’ve expected.

Solid for the price
About 1,000 miles of hard riding on my MTB, still spinning smoothly
