*** Edit 02/24/23 - Power went out for 49 hours with a freak change in weather that iced everything for days causing power lines to fall. The pump did its job and kept all my fish alive. Since I have two pumps, I would charge one on my back up battery pack while the other was keeping air in my aquarium. Each full charge lasted about 7 hours average. Highly recommend having two of these pumps so you always have one running. Recharge was fast so the backup was ready when needed. ***My first air pump arrived in the box without any packaging, instructions, or accessories.....just the pump. I had heard of Amazon customer's occasionally having that problem with their orders so I contacted the seller about the missing items. They promptly replied within the hour that they would be happy to correct the problem. I had a complete replacement in two days! They went above and beyond to correct Amazon's mistake.Our power frequently goes out in our area, so I purchased this pump to handle the air filtration for my aquarium when our power goes off. The pump is plugged in and working great. It's extremely quiet, I have a bubbler and a sponge filter on the two hoses, and I don't hear the pump at all. I tested it several times to see if it would indeed kick in when the power went out. It did! I know my fish will now be safe from any electrical outages in the future. Very happy with my purchase, and extremely pleased with the customer service from the seller.

The idea of this aerator is fantastic. Nice alternative to bubblers that run through batteries, we thought this product would be terrific, unfortunately we were wrong. We were not able to use it right away, however once we did, It lasted about a week. Will not hold a charge, will not work while plugged in, put new hoses and stones, nothing.Seller was kind enough to send a new one, will update!!Update! Product is fabulous. The air it puts out, the battery life, all 5 stars!!!!

Update 2024:After seeing my original review the manufacturer contacted me offering a replacement in 2023 . I did not see their Amazon message followup to me right away so the late update. The replacement arrived super fast. Which was very good customer service . The replacement seems to be charging and so far the tubes are staying attached . So i bumped up the stars.————————————————————-I bought this exact model several months ago.It still is running great. So i decided it would be nice to have one to swap out while the other one charges.I setup this one up exactly the same way with the tubing , stones, and check valves.Within a few hours of use, both tubes fell off the main body. I put them back on and than tubes kept falling off of the stones, check valves on both its ends no matter if the tubing was shoved up as high as they would go.It has been a battle trying to keep the tubes attached to the main body , check valves or stones . Something that never and still has never happened with the first one I bought.The little black main body stems even left black on the clear tubing when they fell off . The main body stems are black and very short . See picture.Besides gluing them on, I have no idea how to keep these working like my first one.If you get one like my first one it is 5 stars but if you get one like my recent purchase it is a zero for being able to aerate your fish with confidence. .Update: 10/11/23. I ended up zip tying all the plastic tubing and check valves on even than they would slowly walk off the check valves and stones…Well this lemon finally refused to recharge. The battery life got worse and worse from day one. Even leaving it plugged in to a USB powerbank , it just will not run. Really sad how this newer purchase was a total ZERO in quality vs the one i bought over a year ago is still working great. Sad that i paid way more for this one than the older one. I keep seeing it being offered for 50% of what I paid for my lemon , but I Wont be buying this brand again.

This thing works really well and that if is rechargeable makes it even better. My frabill takes batteries and the pump itself is in the Fritz, so this thing has been a quality investment. I’ve used it while fishing for hours abs also used it to keep shrimp alive for a couple days. The 10-second on/off mode is nice for conserving battery. However I’ve yet to have it run out on me before I was done fishing.

I bought it a year ago and finally was able to use it. Had it for a weeks vacation. First day it operated great. I charged it up and put it in the 2nd night...sometime during the night it stopped pumping.....I could charge it but the pump would no longer work. Ended up being a good idea in premise but wound up as wasted money.UPDATE: The seller saw my review and very nicely asked if I would like a new one or a refund.I asked for a new one to give it a second chance. The seller was on me a bit to update my review, but I hadn't used it enough to give a quick review. I used it for a couple days and it worked good.I hadn't gotten out fishing in over a month and went to use it and it was dead. I plugged it into the charger and nothing...won't take a charge. Just like the last one I had.Sorry, although they were willing to stand behind their product, my initial review stands.

I bought a pump from another vendor for half the price. It was advertised as having a battery ... but the battery would not take a charge. I returned it and received another one with exactly the same problem. I then ordered an Aqua Miracle which was delivered with a charge of 3/4 which I could clearly see via the 3 green lights while I charged it to full. It quickly charged to full with 4 green lights. It's just what I need to keep the fish alive in the bucket while the kids are fishing or when I go out fishing with minnows and I don't want the hassle of a minnow bucket tied to the boat.

Works perfectly well. Gives me the extra few houses needed when the power goes out and gives me comfort that the fish will be ok during extended period of power outages.A great backup that is a must.
