Programming wows
Product is great. Those who are having issues maintaining adequate voltage while programming need to turn on consumers in the vehicle to keep the charger in charge mode or it will reduce output when it senses a charged battery and low load on the battery. That is how you get around this issue since it doesn’t have an actual power supply mode or flash program feature. Just keep a high load on the battery so it sees a demand to keep supplying constant voltage and current

Nice product
Can’t wait to use it

Part of my auto programming toolkit
(Re)programming computer modules on many modern vehicles requires maintaining battery voltage for long periods of time. This device has good recommendations and a fair price. I'm pleased with my selection.

It’s simplicity is why i like it
I love this for it’s simplicity. It’s either on, or it’s off. No settings to change. No time outs or other smart box features to worry about. I connect it to a vehicle, turn it on, and it’s already dialed in at a perfect voltage range for passthru programming of most cars. Literally set it and forget it. That peace of mind is invaluable for passthru programming. Runs between 13.6 and 14.4 vdc depending on the vehicle’s “ignition on” load. Cables are a bit long but I shortened mine to minimize voltage drop between the supply and the clamps. Cooling fan comes and goes as it should. I’ve ran mine on a program event for 3 hours without any issues. Would definitely buy this one again if i ever have to.

So far so good.
OK. First of all the instructions are terrible. You would think that someone in the United States would simply write a one page instruction sheet, run it off on a printer and throw it in the box, but no. They have this horrible Chinglish information sheet which you have to decipher. If you are used to a simple, inexpensive battery charger, you can forget about that this one is bulky, and if you use the suggested 6 AWG grounding table (not supplied), IT GETS BULKIER. But it works for those long programming/ diagnostic sessions. Also a pretty great battery charger.

Not possible to use as flash reprogrammer
The battery charger looks like it is high quality but I needed to use the unit to power my 911 while programming the ECU. The description says you can use it as a flash reprogrammer but the instructions which came with the unit state that the positive cable must be disconnected in order to hook this up to your battery. So you can't use it as a flash reprogrammer and the description needs to be changed.
