Great to have on hand if you are in a flood prone area!
Ordered 6 boxes, had to use 2. Pig Rolls work just as advertised. They helped me control the water when my basement started flooding this past April. We got 4.5 inches of rain in about 2 hours. The foundation drains were overwhelmed and water was coming out of the cracks in the floor. These and a shop vac saved me a ton of money. Keep some on hand they will help you!

Works somewhat
I purchased this product for water that might flow in during hurricane season. It did absorb water. I disposed of the product in a trash bag when I removed the water soaked product, so in that respect it did work. I am not sure that it worked better than towels. I do not think I would purchase it again. I think it was supposed to deter the flow of water and I do not believe it did that.

these work great on my porch to soak up the water after it rains.
