Frost King 2"x100'Weatherseal Tape

I applied a three inch long strip of this tape, plus a three inch long strip of Gorilla tape to a tent shelter tarpaulin that was ripping out. The temperature at the time was minus 5C. The gorilla tape was easy to rip off the roll, but I had to use scissors to cut the Frost King tape. The Gorilla tape is still tightly adhered to the tarpaulin. The Frost King fell off. I repeated the experiment three times at different subzero temperatures with the same results every time. I DO NOT recommend this tape. It is much more expensive than the Gorilla tape, and does not work as well.

Absolute crap, I bought this one because you had about 3 times the amount of the 3M brand, big mistake, last year I used the 3M one and loved it, no problems at all, did not peel. This one did not stick to anything, the first day yes, I thought "nice, job done", but the next day it was comming off everything, everywhere. Had to remove it completely and use something else. Now I'm sure about buying any Frost King products since this one was so bad.

Yeah, took only a day for the tape to come off or unstuck. Woke up this morning to see the tape just hanging off the two windows I did yesterday afternoon. Frames were very clean and dry and it's not yet cold outside so no reason for it to come off. Might work well on metal frames but on wood it just doesn't stick while other brands have. A high quality packing tape for $2 would do a better job.

This tape says it is for indoor/outdoor use - but after only 2 rainstorms, it peeled off. Luckily I had also put plastic on the inside of the window and it is sticking for now - but will need to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't start peeling from there as well. Very disappointed as I had planned to use it on my screen door over the winter and now have no faith that it will hold.

Using this to block large gaps around an almost inaccessible door that weather stripping was too narrow to seal. Works great! Just sometimes it unsticks in places and I have to reattach to add extra tape to block draft. Would buy again!
