Works for me! Update....One Year later
When I rolled it out of the bag I thought " hmm this may not work as well as the thicker more expensive covers I saw on line" But low and behold, one week with the cover on, my pool went from 65 degrees to 74 degrees. Its a keeper and a winner! Note, My pool is in Palm Springs and in the sun most the day .... but the cover has raised the temp 9 degrees in the winter. I'm very happy with this cover. UPDATE: One year later ( well 11 months) ... the cover now easily tears and the tops of the little bubbles are disintegrating off the cover and into the pool. For the price i guess you get what you pay for & I did get a good year of use out of it and it really did work to keep pool clean and warm. Just know this cover works but it wont last more then a year.

FRAUD
BUYER BEWARE! FRAUD! Seller claims 30day return/ refunds. FALSE. The fact of the matter is the defective item needs to be reviewed by the manufacturer for return processing, the manufacturer will provide the refund. I am not to sophisticated , but I can suspect no manufacturer is going to refund retail price to a consumer, when they sold a item to a reseller at wholesale price. The fact of the matter is the seller knows they are selling inferior products and simply wash their hands of the responsibility of all liability, meantime sucking buyers in with a Fraudulent 30 day return policy. As Far as the product is concern, it such low quality the seller does not even spend a couple bucks for box, rather they toss it and a garbage bag and ship it out the door, why would they do this, simply because they do not take returns, heck why even send a cover? Why not send office garbage in the garbage bag? The pool cover, if you can call it that literally started to fall into pieces with in the first day of use. The small bubbles came off, went through my skimmers in to my pump and ruined the pump. What a disaster! BUYER BEWARE!! COMPLETE JUNK!

Looks good so far, then had a chance to use it, so far so good!
Very good price, unrolled easily, but it feels thinner than the one it’s replacing. Just put it on our pool, hoping it keeps the heat in as good or better than our last one and hoping it lasts more than one season.Well, we used it for a few weeks before we closed the pool. It is thinner, but moved around better, stayed in the water better, warmed up the just as well if not better than the other one we had! We’re buying a new solar cover reel and it’ll roll better and easier than the last cover! Just hoping it lasts!

Extend your pool season for pennies!
We live in an exurb of Washington DC in southern Maryland and installed our saltwater pool three years ago. We didn't put in a heater because we didn't know if we would need it, and also because unlike the chlorine generator we could add it later for the same price. Two years ago the fall weather was so hot--and the pool water so warm--that we didn't close the pool until November, but last year it was cold and rainy and we had to close it on Labor Day. (We have a Loop-Loc impermeable winter cover. In our climate you don't need a heater if your pool is in the sun and you can't keep it open much longer than April-October without a retractable cover and daily work). I bought this cover, which is really just thick blue bubble wrap, to heat up my pool more quickly in the spring and use to cover it in the fall to warm the water and keep most of the leaves out. Since the reviews on here are so ambivalent, I went with the size that would cover most of the pool and cost less than my phone bill. If it didn't heat the water, or it ripped, or got moldy, I was only out the cost of two tanks of gas. As you can see from the photos, I didn't even bother cutting it to fit and using the grommet system, I just got my kid to help drag it across the water and weighed it down with pavers. And do I really expect thick bubble wrap, in full sun, on top of salt water and concrete, to last two or three years? Of course not! How ridiculous! I paid $5k for my Loop-Loc and IT doesn't have a three year warranty! But you want to know if it works, is it as advertised, and is it worth the money. Yes, yes, and yes! Does it keep the water warm? ABSOLUTELY! It's 65° at night and the water is still 85°! Is it easy to put on? Yes! I'm 120 lbs and I can put it on with one of my middle schoolers helping, and I can take it off all by myself without even getting in the pool. I do use the leaf-blower to blow the leaves off first. Can I use the filter with it on? Yes, and I can't speak for chlorine pools but in my salt pool the chlorine level stays very high since the cover keeps the chlorine (and water) from evaporating. The company went above and beyond, too! I ordered it and it came as promised, then I got an email from the seller saying they sent grommets and instructions separately and tobe looking for that in the mail, and gave me a phone number to call if I had any questions or issues whatsoever. All this for a $100 piece of bubble wrap! This thing is great. I'll try to roll it up and keep it in the shed until spring, but for that price if it gets moldy or rips I'll buy a new one next year!

It DOES Heat The Pool BUT....
We have had this cover just over one month. It was easy to cut to shape. It is easy for two people to 'drag it' the length of the pool, and if you know how to 'flake' a mainsail on a sail boat, it is relatively easy to re-fold. The seams look like they are starting to delaminate a bit but the material itself is still in decent condition. NOTE: if you live in a windy climate (Palm Springs, for example, like us), the cover will naturally hold all the crud that the wind would have blown into the pool. IF THE COVER GETS WET IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING IT FROM THE POOL, ALL THE JUNK ON THE TOP - LEAVES, SAND, SILT, DUST WILL, AS OURS DID, TURN INTO SILT/MUD THAT WILL INADVERTENTLY BE DUMPED INTO THE POOL. This happened to us twice, so now we remove the cover when it is 'clean'. When it is dirty on top, we carefully try and remove it without allowing water to collect on top and then we try to hose it off. This is a major pain, as all the junk now flows off the cover. Don't do this too close to the pool. You may be able to fold up the sides so as to contain the dirt and keep the water out when removing it from the pool, but it can be tricky. Also, if you do remove the cover, the underside, being wet ,may pick up dirt as well. We know that a 'reel' may make things easier, but the reviews suggest that the cover will not last long enough to justify purchasing a reel.
