Great piece for the price, even better with minor DIY. 10 month; 30 month update. still good!
For the price, this is an excellent piece of furniture. It’s solid wood and easy to assemble. Mine came with a slightly warped top but it’s fine for a computer. There are two (three, see update) minor design issues that could be easily fixed:1. The table legs don’t lock in the open position and would fold in if the tray isn’t installed. I plan to fix this by drilling a couple of small holes and adding bolts to the legs to temporarily lock them open. (UPDATE 1: never did this, but I did add a small plastic bumper/spacer on one of the legs to make it a bit more solid. See pic)2. There’s some instability and it wiggles slightly side to side. I fixed this by adding a plywood panel across the rear rectangle. (See pic)3. UPDATE: the flathead screws that attach the tray rails to the legs can pop through and cause the tray to crash to the ground. Easily fixed with larger flathead screws.UPDATE: After 10 months of solid service, I bumped the tray with my hip and it went crashing to the floor with my keyboard, mouse, and some other stuff. The problem was that two of the flathead screws on the right track had popped through the track, and that caused it to rotate and fall away. The fix was easy: Replace or augment the screws with other flatheads with slightly larger heads.I've attached three pictures: One with my "back panel" mod that improved stability, one showing the left track with both an original screw (to the right of the wheel) and a new larger screw (above the wheel), and one showing the small plastic bumper/spacer between the leg and the top rail.Still giving it 5 stars given the price, aesthetics, quality of the wood, and the ease of fixing the minor problems.UPDATE #2 at 30 months: This desk is still going strong with nearly daily use and my modifications. I made one more upgrade: On the back panel, I also added a couple of inexpensive, stick-on cable management channels/trays. In total, the plywood, screws, and cable channels probably added another $30 to the cost, still in line with the competition.I'm retiring the desk from my use as I've upgraded to a new custom one, but I have no reason to think it wouldn't last for several more years.

Easy to assemble
A very useful product. Easy to assemble and makes for an attractive desk. Portable and easy to move. Simple but classic design.

I'm thrilled with the quality, sturdiness and appearance of this desk!
This is a great desk. I looked for a portable desk, on and off, for several years. But they always fell short in one way or another. This one is perfect for my needs. I use it for my home office/guest room. The room is small—so when guests come, I just fold up the desk and temporarily put it in my bedroom. The desk is sturdy enough to work on, yet light enough to fold up, move to another room, and easily unfold. I have a 22-inch monitor, heavy desk lamp, and two 6 x 9-inch speakers on the desk and it holds them easily. The desk doesn't wobble or move in any way. The keyboard tray easily holds my keyboard with about 8 inches to spare on either side. The tray is also sturdy yet moves in and out easily. The desk was extremely well packaged. It arrived without a dent or scratch. I didn't quite believe other reviewers when they reported that the desk was very easy to assemble. But it's true! The instructions were well written and easy to follow. It took about 15 minutes. This is an attractive desk. The light wood, while not my favorite look, fits in with any decor. It's pretty neutral looking and blends well in my office/guest room that's decorated in a vintage/shabby chic style. I know it sounds like it wouldn't work, but it does—maybe because of the mission-style sides. If you have a room that has a more contemporary/modern feel, it will fit there, too.I am thrilled with the quality, sturdiness and appearance of this desk!

Good desk for small space
Easy to assemble. Provide a good work surface. The tray for the keyboard works well with lots of room for a mouse pad. Very compact but with enough work surface.
