Lidocaine Numbing Cream - Topical Anesthetic with Vitamin E - Pain Relief Ointment to Reduce Discomfort - Arnica, Jojoba, Sea Berry Oil - 2oz

so i've never purchased or used lidocaine, really. only for topical purposes when a doctor puts it on to really numb that area. I never thought to have it around the house. I have ointments, gels, aquaphor, calimine lotion, anti itch creams, and heavy lotion. I figured all of these would work for whatever scrape or something i had going on and considering this is a "numbing" creme, what do i have to numb?i have chronic seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp which goes through stages. sometimes i will pick and pick at the scabs until they are raw- a big no-no. well, i did it again. i picked a spot and my scalp was stinging and it hurt. i put the usual on it, and like usual, it didn't help with the pain. so i decided to try this lidocaine, because it numbs. well, i instantly found relief and my pain went away. i forgot about it and didn't think about it, until it wore off so i just reapplied it.it is a nice cream, solid packaging- glass jar, and i can't believe it works. i just put some on a few mins ago cuz those spots stung. you know how things are labeled "pain relief" and they don't help with your pain? well, this numbing cream is pain relief for me as it felt nice going on my scalp and worked instantly. i just wished i had this product sooner as i get really itchy at times and get little scratches and nothing seemed to help with the itchiness or really relieve it.I am going to keep this product around and re-order it. as with any scratch that's sore, red or irritated this is going to be the first thing i reach for!

I ordered this specifically for use with a dermapen, a device that pokes 1000's of tiny holes into the skin in order to stimulate collagen. I found the instructions frustrating...they didn't indicate how much product to use, when it would become effectice, or how long it would last. Based on YouTube videos, I applied a slughtly heavy layer to my skin, but only lightly rubbed it in. 45 minutes later I honestly forgot I had applied it as I felt only the mildest tingling around my mouth. I washed my face and decided to test it - I quickly realized I barely felt the dermapen at a 1.5mm needle depth...excellent! I dermapenned my entire face and chest with virtually no pain! Next time, I'll try a 2mm depth. Super happy with this product, and will definitely start using for other facial treatments!

I found this product was not strong enough to numb me for laser spot removal. But I have a feeling it might me due to my mistakes!!I am not sure of the longevity of this product, so maybe mine got old and I forgot to refrigerate after opening.... ? I also did not cover my spots with plastic wrap....and I think you need to do all those things for best results.If I would order again, I would follow that procedure and give it another try!

Please, if you are thinking about getting this to relieve the pain of waxing save yourself the time and money. This product does not work at all. I purchased this with high hopes that it will ease my Brazilian wax experience and it did not. I applied it 1 hour before my session, I checked within 30 minutes to see if there was any numbing happening by plucking a hair myself and I felt pain, I added more and waited an additional 30minutes and just hoped that maybe it will work. Epic fail, if anything I think it made my waxing worse because the wax felt a lot hotter than usual. No pain relief for waxing and I’m sure will not work for tattoos either! It is odorless as other reviewers mentioned and it is not watery. However as I said, does not work for waxing.

It works well for a temporary fix. it usually last approximately 3 hours before you have to apply it again.

Great texture and easily absorbed into the skin. It provides a mildly warm sensation as it begins to work. The product works great, helping to dull and numb sensations to the applied area. I work lifting and toting heavy objects over my shoulder and they get sore and raw. This product will be a big help. A great product backed by a great company that stands behind their product.

There are several things I liked about this product. It is in a glass jar with a very easy to open yet child safe lid. It protects it from my grandkids using it. It is smooth and creamy, not oily and not smelly. Best of all it worked when given a little bit a time to absorb. I have sore tendons in my ankles and it was perfect for pain relief after hiking.

Excellent product, works really well at topical pain relief. The feel is great, great texture. Feels great on the skin, not greasy oily or wet. Packaging is great also, in a nice glass jar. It can sit on a table while you use it, no messy plastic tubes!I am often burning my fingers on the stove, so this is great pain releif. I highly recommend Restoriden Lidocaine.
