I wanted to make a clock for our newly remodeled bathroom, using the accent colors we had selected for the bathroom. I don't know who was off in the depth measurement...the clock mechanism people, or the people I bought the wood base from. But I had to ream out a part of the back of the wood base for the clock mechanism to fit correctly. Photo is of an unfinished clock, as I hadn't added the hour markers at this point. It appears to keep good time, and the hour and minute markers weren't bent out of shape like other reviews have stated. And I didn't have any problems installing the battery, like other reviews have stated. Overall, I am very happy with this clock hardware.

I was looking for a set of hands and movements to build my own clock out of a crosscut face of log. This package came to mind, and I am not disappointed that I have purchased it. Everything that is in it was used to create the clock that is pictured, all of the items fit perfectly and I am very pleased with the end product. In addition, I have quite a few pieces left over if I want to make a couple more clocks! The set was reasonably priced and all inclusive. There was no need to purchase any additional parts to make the clock. There were also numerous other options of types of clocks that could be made with the faces and the hands and the movements that were included a great purchase.

They seem to work well. The hands are a bit flimsy but I guess that's just how clock hands are. I had hoped they'd be stronger, but they are pretty much exactly the same as the ones I replaced.

Replaced the mechanism in a 30-year-old glass and metal clock. So far, so good. Keeps time perfectly.

I have a nice, yet inexpensive, clock I bought a while ago that quit working, I didn't want to get rid of it because I liked the design, so I decided to search for replacement parts and of course I found some on Amazon!! They came quickly and hubby had no problem installing the new clock guts immediately. He reminded me that a clock in his workshop quit working as well and with this multi-pack we were able to fix both. The choice of hands is nice and there is a little bit of every style.

These clock movements seem to work well and I prefer the smooth second hand movement to the ticking movement.

I had a few different clock mechanisms to replace, all with different shaft lengths, and this was one of the few stores that sold a set of 4 mechanisms with varying shaft lengths - much appreciated feature. Easy to install, packaging was great, the variety of clock hands was nice to accommodate different tastes, but they were all really long, more for bigger clocks so it didn't really work for my small clocks. Nevertheless, would definitely recommend this set for those with multiple clock mechanisms all requiring different shaft lengths!

My husband took the first one and it works. One we haven't used yet, and two don't keep time. So, I bought some other ones. They all work great.
