The charger does work for my laptop, but the plug does not stay connected to the port well. Also, you have to make you see the little charging icon on your device to ensure it is actually charging. It charges fine though.

While it performed well with my Lenovo laptop, it didn't last too long due to its poor quality wiring and had to be replaced. I'd give it 3 stars.

Great charger I was a little worried if it would work for my sons, Lenovo think pad but it works awesome my son doesn’t even have to keep it plugged for long.

I was on the road in Dc for work as I travel a lot for work. My laptop is very important way for me to communicate with family and friends. Pay my bills and shop on line. When I went to plug in my Lenovo laptop after unpacking my bags nothing happened it was dead. Of course I was in a panic I was going to be on this trip for over two months. I got some advice that it might just be the power cord and to start first with that. I took my laptop to BestBuy and they had nothing that would work. I found this Ac SLE Adapter on Amazon and it came two days later. I was so worried that it wouldn't work. I got it out of the box and plugged in my laptop . The first thing I saw was the blinking light and was so exited to see. I waited just a few minutes for it to charge and was able to turn it on. This Adapter saved me so much time and frustration. I would buy this product again.

Exact replacement charger for my son's Lenovo T430 laptop at about 1/3 the OEM Price. Works perfectly and arrived in two days. Longevity unknown. Power wall plug cord is nicely a bit longer that the OEM model which is convenient. All laptop chargers tend to fail at the junction of the charger cord into the computer jack. Constant flexing of the thin charger wire eventually strips the insulation, frays the ground wire shield and either shorts out the charger, or breaks the ground completely, rendering the charger non-functional. I now reinforce all my charger cords at that junction with the charger jack, by surrounding the juction with a short segment of rubber tube which is taped in place. Looks bad, but works very well, especially for repeated student.

Bought this as an extra charger for a school computer and my iPad at the end of February and it worked great while it lasted. Not even 2 1/2 months later and it’s stopped working last week. I made sure it was in a single location and wasn’t carried around or messed with and it’s already not working and it’s past my “return window”.

This review is for the SLE® Laptop Ac Adapter Charger Power Cord Supply for Lenovo.There are various power supplies for Lenovo products, so you want to make sure that the output of the charger matches the expected input of the computer.I purchased this power supply to leave at a client's office, so that I don't have to schlep one when I visit for I.T. support. I don't expect it to "get legs" and walk away from their office, but at the market price of this unit it's not a worry.The fit and finish of the charger is excellent, it powers my ThinkPad 11e wonderfully, and does not get overly warm when charging, even on a nearly depleted battery.I'm really pleased with the unit.HTHRegards,Jim
